We stayed 5 sunny days in Anantara. The location is beautiful with a spacious pool area directly by the beach. The poolboys are very attentive. The spa is wonderful. The rooms are very nice, with great service. The breakfast buffet is fantastic with a huge variety of choices and fresh, homemade dishes. Lunch and dinner is disappointing, not what you expect from a 5 star hotel. Overall the service is very friendly but often have difficulties with Englisch.

My first impression was, just okay, I like the architecture and entrance of the hotel. The walkway to the hotel had a Buddhist-like and Japanese Zen aura. Later, however, I realized it was actually a blend of Thai and Vietnamese influences, and nothing as grandiose as I had imagined in my own mind—though beauty is in the eye of the beholder, lol. At first, I wasn’t all that impressed, especially since I had just left The Reverie Saigon, so staying at another hotel was always going to be a tough comparison to that level of luxury. However, throughout the stay, I really began to enjoy myself because of the peaceful atmosphere and relaxing vibes. The landscape was gorgeous and may be even better experienced in person than described here. The breakfast was something else—nicely laid out and delicious. The coffee, for lack of a better term, was just plain bad. However, the coffee in the room was excellent, and I’m glad I had some before going to the breakfast buffet. All in all, everything was wonderful, and all the necessities and amenities were well taken care of. Overall, I would come back simply because it was such a peaceful stay—at least for me, anyway

Fantastic Experience and Attentive Service! I recently stayed at Anantara Mui Ne Resort and had a wonderful time. The service here is truly top-notch. From arrival to departure, the staff were professional and proactive. The front desk team was very helpful with our room arrangements, and the bell staff and housekeeping were seamless in assisting with our belongings. The facilities are well-maintained, with a beautiful infinity pool and a beautiful private beach. The breakfast buffet by the lagoon is a must-try; it has a great variety of food and a very relaxing atmosphere.

This hotel is extremely disappointing and far below what you would expect from an Anantara property. The location is good, directly on the beach in Mui Ne, and the food served by the pool is actually good. There is also a very kind lady in the kids’ playroom, and most of the staff are polite and friendly. Unfortunately, these few positives do not compensate for the overall experience. The hotel is very poorly maintained. The rooms and common areas are old, worn out, and clearly in need of serious renovation. The reality does not match the photos advertised online, which is misleading. Cleanliness is unacceptable: floors were dirty, and tables were covered with dust and debris. Management and guest care are where this hotel truly fails. When issues were raised, nothing was done. At check-out, the front desk did not ask whether we had a good stay or if anything was wrong. There was no interest, no follow-up, and no sense that anyone actually cares about the guest experience. This hotel has potential because of its location, but poor maintenance and weak management completely ruin it. I would strongly advise avoiding this property. There is another hotel just outside the gate that looks far better. We made a clear mistake booking this hotel.
