Cannot fault anything here. Staff are friendly and can't do enough for you. Rooms cleaned everyday, pool clean and fresh pool towels. The best cocktails and food in skala! Yes it is out of the town but the shuttle bus provided is great and is charged at minimum! Its a quiet location but within a stones throw of the town. If you need a taxi back it €8 ,worth every penny. We've visited for 3 years and have already booked for the next! Lots to see and do and I'll never get bored of the view from the pool. A somewhat disappointing experience considering the premium standard the hotel claims to offer, especially given its advertised 4-star rating — and knowing that we specifically chose one of the newly renovated rooms. Indeed, the hotel LOOKS premium, but once you look a little closer, it’s a very different story. - The breakfast terrace LOOKS lovely, but it’s impossible to enjoy because of the wasps. We had to have all our breakfasts indoors. - The sea view from the pool LOOKS incredible, but look a little further down and you’ll see the ground littered with rubbish. - The bed LOOKS comfortable, but getting a decent night’s sleep is impossible because of the extremely loud fridge. - The bathroom LOOKS stylish, but the glass door lets in all the light, making it impossible to sleep (assuming you had somehow managed to fall asleep with earplugs despite the noise from the fridge.) - There was no “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door, so we were disturbed twice by the housekeeping staff at 8am (!). - The bathroom window was broken, and the chairs on the terrace were broken too. - The TV is outdated: no Netflix, no screen mirroring, nothing. - There is just one rail with a few sad-looking hangers and no shelves or storage space. We had to keep our clothes in our suitcases and dig through them throughout our stay. Not exactly ideal. - The housekeeping staff did not replenish the tea, so we ended up with just two tea bags for 4 nights. Overall, a very beautiful hotel in the photos, but much less comfortable and satisfying in reality. We left the place exhausted.

This has to be, by far the best place we have stayed. The rooms are clean, well equipped, and very spacious, and if lucky, have a lovely balcony and sea view. The food is delicious, and a good selection on both the lunch, and evening menu. Breakfast was also a great suprise. Great selection, and very good quality. The main thing about this place is the staff, and they are all extremely helpful, and very polite. A special thanks goes out to Anastasia, and Irena who were absolutely fab 👌 - Thank you both. We are already at looking at when we can visit again. 10 out of 10 👍

Océane BERGEOT

A lovely hotel with beautiful views and a great location, especially if you have a car. The breakfast had everything we needed, and the eggs were particularly good. It’s worth noting that some rooms have been recently renovated while others are older. Our room wasn’t one of the renovated ones, but it didn’t affect our stay. Overall, a pleasant stay in a convenient location with stunning surroundings.

Lovely hotel, kept very clean by the staff, especially at breakfast time in Wasp season ! Spacious rooms are cleaned everyday with just the bath/shower and dated sink cabinet letting the standards down a bit. There is a hob and microwave in the kitchen area with limited plates, cutlery, cups and glasses. We did ask for a tea towel and washing utensils as they wasn't supplied. The location 2.5 milesoutside of Skala town, with the hotel supplying a mini bus for 1€ each way at various times during the day. The breakfasts were nice with a good selection including hot and cold food served in a buffet style each morning. There was as a climate tax fee of 10€ per day, which we paid at the end of the stay. We would recommend this hotel if staying in the Skala area, although we would prefer to stay at a more central location on the island as driving can be a chore on the twisty narrow roads. Fiscardo was over 90 mins away, Agostoli 60 mins.
