How far is the nearest beach?

Bangkok doesn’t have a beach, but Hua Hin is within easy reach a few hours outside of the city. Alternatively, you could combine a trip to Bangkok with a beach retreat to one of Thailand’s beautiful islands.

Bangkok Cha-Da Hotel is based in the modern part of the city, with an array of eateries in the nearby area. The Thailand Cultural Centre is about 850m away, and Rod Fai Night Market is just a bit further in the same direction. Huai Khwang metro station is within 700m of the hotel, making it very easy to get around the city. To get to the centre of Bangkok, where many of the touristic sights are located, takes approximately half an hour on the metro.

Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok is approximately 25km from Cha-Da Hotel. It’s possible to take the metro from the station to the hotel, which takes about 50 minutes.

Solo travel and stayed in the superior room for 1400baht per night. The cleanliness and design of the room are pretty decent. You can tell the hotel is a bit old or run down from the paintwork of the wall. The lobby was under renovation during my stay but luckily they gave a room at 12th floor so I didn't hear any noise disturbance from the renovation. There isn't any restaurant for breakfsst buffet but they will serve it to you in your room. I think the price is reasonable for such room but my only dissatisfaction is the bed, it was so hard not even springy I felt like I was sleeping on a parquet floor. Luckily I only stayed for 1 night before moving on to the next city otherwise my back would be hurt. Need to improve and change the bed to a more comfy one.

This is a good basic hotel. It's in a great location. It's right by a 7-Eleven, and it's within walking distance of The Street mall, which has many shops that are open 24 hours. So if you like staying up all night, but want a kind of quiet immediate neighborhood, this place is great. It's kind of by the subway but you'll need to walk a bit. Their food is good.

Yes, the beds are hard, but the hotel provides adequate facilities for a few nights stay in Bangkok, especially as a first time visitor. The management and staff are very friendly and helpful. Complimentary water is provided. I love the roof top pool. Basic buffet breakfast with enough to get you through your morning travels. All in all a very pleasant experience.

I booked it via Agoda. I stayed here for few times. The first time was terrible because it was renovating. But the rest were totally fine. The place is full of tourists. Location is quite convenient (near 7-11 and mrt). All facilities after renovation are all fine. Standard room is perfect but deluxe is quite old. I personally hate the red curtain and antique sofa.

Stayed a night for quarantine. Bought a test and go package from a website. Pros - Reasonable price. Reasonably big room, stylishly and newly refurbished. Large bathroom with a separate shower and bathtub. Quick PCR test result, tested at 5 pm, result came 6 am the next day. Nice and polite staff. Cons - Mattress was extremely hard. (The beddings were of good quality though.) Food was quite bland. In general it's a good choice if you are looking for a quick stay.
