I had a wonderful stay at Bayview Beach Resort in Batu Ferringhi, Penang. The hotel has a beautiful beachfront location, spacious rooms, a relaxing pool area, and a very family-friendly atmosphere. The staff were generally warm, polite, and helpful throughout my stay. Many guests also praised the hotel’s friendly service and comfortable environment. A special appreciation goes to the reception staff, Bawani. She was extremely professional, friendly, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Her patience, kind attitude, and excellent customer service made the check-in process smooth and pleasant. She handled guests with a genuine smile and made us feel comfortable and valued. Staff like Bawani truly make a difference and are one of the reasons guests would love to return again. Thank you, Bawani, and the team at Bayview Beach Resort, for the lovely hospitality and memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Penang for a relaxing beach holiday 😊

i really enjoy for very last day. this hotel will close for two years.. because of renovation and will change the name also.. hopefully they not change the lift. because it remind me the king of the land. i stay at deluxe room with seaview.. and i can watch the sunset.. really nice sunset for the last moment here.

I wouldn't say this place is 4 star hotel. The pictures of this place are misleading. Our stay here was just okay, decent location at Batu Ferringhi but I am sure there must be better hotels nearby. The rooms and the hotel was generally old and had a smell. The cleanliness was ok. The sea view and island view was great from the window. The staff were nice. The lobby was very quiet, could do better to create an atmosphere. Food at breakfast or dinner wasn't great either. The housekeeping did clean the room. Services were very basic. Other than the location and view which you could get the same elsewhere, I would say it is not good value for money.

Extremely Disappointing Experience | Not Recommended for Families with Kids My experience at Bayview Beach Resort was extremely disappointing, especially when it came to the service and restaurant staff. The biggest issue was the way the restaurant staff handled our request for baby food. As a family traveling with kids, we expected some basic understanding, care, and support. Unfortunately, the restaurant staff showed very little concern and their rude behavior made the experience even worse. They clearly need better training on how to deal with customers, especially families with young children. The service from the restaurant and staff was pathetic. A four-star resort should know how to provide good hospitality and make guests feel comfortable, but sadly, that was completely missing during our stay. Honestly, this resort does not feel like a four-star property. The rooms have only basic facilities and are not worth the price they charge. There are many other hotels and resorts available in the same price range, and even cheaper options that offer better service and value for money. The only positive thing about this resort is its location. Apart from that, the overall experience was not worth the money. I would never recommend Bayview Beach Resort to families traveling with kids. Very disappointing service, rude staff, and poor value for money. Management seriously needs to improve its customer service and hospitality. “Good location cannot compensate for poor service, rude staff, and an experience that falls far short of four-star standards.”

We had a wonderful 5 nights stay at the Suite Room located on the 9th Floor, the view overlooking the beach was lovely, the hotel is very big, the pool, gymnasium was lovely. Parking was ample. Excellent customer service. At night beside the Hard Rock Hotel by the beach there was the Fire Play Demonstration with fire works was fun. Close by to the Putri and Mary am Tom Yum Thai Restaurants , the food was so good for the price.
