Honest review of the Bluesea Hawaii We arrived mid October. It is up two very steep hills from the beach front (around 7mins walk) The service was great on entry. They allowed us to check in early as the rooms were ready. Firstly the rooms: they are small, the bathroom was ridiculous. You can hardly get to the toilet as it's so tight round the sink. There was hairs stuck on the walls in the bathroom. The beds are comfy but the sheet had blood on it. The housekeeper changed it for us immediately. The TVs are completely pointless unless you can speak Spanish and you have to 'rent' a remote control Only One English channel and it's BBC news.. The walls are paper thin and I'm not exaggerating. You can hear everything. Everyone in that hotel seemed to make as much noise as possible We got bitten by bed bugs all over our legs and back The food and drinks: (all inclusive) The food is decent enough and tasty. Each day the main meat dish changed but it was pork every single day. The breakfast was mainly continental and full English. Breads, cereals, crepes, coffee, juices etc. The drinks are good enough. They pour them really strong. Standard all inclusive alcoholic drinks. 4 cocktails but they're horrible. Lots of soft drinks and hot drink options too. The pool is tiny but nice enough. Shuts at 7pm The issue is the noise at night. People running about, screaming, banging on doors, having sex loud next to my son's room. Music on and just chaos until 4am sometimes. There are security there all night that don't care and do nothing about it. I'd never take my under 18 there again It should be adults only There are two hotel sites on the same road. You won't know which one you'll be in until you get there. The staff were all lovely and helpful.

Very nice hotel for the price you pay. The rooms are a bit basic but they are nice with working Aircon so we slept well. The rest of the hotel was well-maintained and looked quite nice. Staff were also polite and helpful and the breakfast was sufficient and varied a little each day. There was a noisy drunk girl one night shouting and banging on peoples` doors which was annoying but not the hotel's fault. Thanks for a great stay!

The hotel pleasantly surprised me because, after reading the reviews, I was expecting something worse. I don’t know, maybe we were lucky with our room, but it was really clean and quiet, with no noise from outside. However, it was very small for three people. The location is excellent, and the grounds are beautiful. The hotel is not new and needs renovation, but for this price, it’s the best option. The food was mostly tasty, and there was a decent selection. The only real downside was the staff. They were either unfriendly or completely indifferent. However, the lady at the bar who is originally from the Czech Republic was absolutely wonderful. She was the only one who smiled and spoke to us politely!

5 stars because I could make a cheese marmite and onion sandwich for dinner Marmite sold in the Caprabo supermarket down the road, downstairs. Service is perfecto Staff are remarkably friendly Food is quite fantastic The team really go that one step further to try make sure the stay is nice. All the staff are absolutely brilliant, however Violeta has stood out as most helpful, incredibly friendly, always smiling, from check in to check out, she's been absolutely outstanding. The bread in the morning is best for making real good sandwiches, proper square slices The chicken skewers, breaded pork and hamburger patties have stood out as best food items (for me) and most amazing of all, the aioli potatoes. We are here right now! This hotel is clean and tidy the maids come in every day make the beds (lovely fresh white bedding) leave fresh towels, if I’m being picky two large towels would be nice you get one large two medium one small but I’m picking, all areas of the hotel are clean. The restaurant is also clean food was good, a nice selection for all, would be nice to have juice and tea/coffee for lunch and dinner not just breakfast but we will live. For the bar you need €1 for your cup would be nice if they gave you a fresh cup not just rinced out the one you give them, some bar staff do done don’t, cheese toasty also available from the bar. If you want your TV remote that also €10 from reception, there’s also a deposit for the safe. Pool area is good the sunbeds could do with replacing quite a lot are broken in the middle, and as it’s only a small pool area not many beds but they don’t have more space. We haven’t visited their second building. It’s a five min walk to the beach and shops which are lovely, great selection of restaurants along the front and the walk round from the castle is stunning (lots of stair!) there are boat rides from the beach and sunbeds to hire on the beach for €10. Also the bus stop is right outside where you can grab a bus to Barcelona, we haven’t been on this trip but I’ve been before it’s stunning. There’s a stag group here and they can be rather loud round the pool but there having a good time but at times we just went to relax on the beach. I have stayed at 5* hotels which have been just as good at blue sea. Just need to see their late room check out deal……
