We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Even though we had some technical issues the hotel staff handled everything quickly and were always willing to help and accommodate us. We stayed in a beautiful room with bathtub, wooden floors and ocean view, which we really enjoyed. I’d say this hotel offers very good value for money — the location, views and the overall experience matched the price. What impressed us the most was the attitude of the management and staff towards any questions or issues we had. Their hospitality was warm, caring and really attentive.

We planed to stay here at Chom View hotel for 2 nights according to the reviews. But we ended up staying only one night and checked out the next day. On the day we checked in we noticed that the toilets were not cleaned. So we told the issue we had to the front desk lady. She said she would check with the staff first which seemed like she didn’t believe what we said!! That was in the afternoon before we left for swimming and the cleaning staffs were still there. We came back to the room in the evening and the toilets condition was the same. So again we went to the front desk and asked the same front desk lady if she sent someone to check. She said the toilets were dirty because we already used them so they didn’t clean them! What???? Also there was a guy who told us he was the supervisor said the toilets were not dirty they were just old (they were saying like we just made up the complaint which they didn’t need to care about!). We know the difference between old and dirty. There were stains on the lids and the toilet bowls were stained yellow. They could be cleaned easily if they really did their job. Then they said there were no staffs to come and clean them but they would POSSIBLY send someone to check in the morning. They didn’t take care of it (which takes probably 15 minutes) when we first told them in the afternoon and now they didn’t have any staffs to do that. They didn’t send someone to our room the next day either. So we checked out the next day and we will never come back to this hotel again because of the unsatisfactory service we had!! We stayed one night (July 25th, 2026) and the two staffs that we met (they know who they were) definitely need training for how to deal with the hotel customers and how to take care of customers request (I don’t know about the other staffs). If they took care of our request (which was not a big deal for them), we would be happy and thankful. We already knew that the property was old and we didn’t expect everything was new and shiny. But we expected CLEANLINESS (our first priority) which was different from being OLD!! We stayed at many different old hotels which were very clean and maintain their properties very well. We were very upset about it. That was our family vacation. We just wanted a Happy and Relaxing trip!

The Hotel is old and requires good care and a good deal of renovation. The furniture and all the facilities are worn out and are stuck somewhere In the 1980s :) i stayed In the main building and the rooms there are the worst. Those closer to the beach are more expencive but they have balconies, ocean View and are better equipped. My room was equipped with a fridge and two glasses with no safe. An Electric kettle was provided on request. There was a soap bar, a shampoo and two shower caps. Neither toothbrashes nor slippers provided. However the bed was comfortable, AC worked well and everyrhing was clean. Two complimentary bottles of water appeared In the fridge after daily cleaning. The swimming pool was ok, towels were provided but the sunbeds were sun faded and old as well. The second pool was not functioning. The breakfast was satisfactory but very boring - bearable Coffee, some bread, pancakes with marmelade, eggs, some veggies and a variety of Thai food like rice or stir fried noodles. The meals were tasty but the same every Day lacking good choice for a european guest. WiFi was really great and worked everywhere on the territory. The biggest advantage is however the location - it is a two minute walk from the beach and u can enjoy the sea and the sun. Cicada and Tamarind markets are 300-400 meters away and there are enough convenience stores and eateries around. A train station is within a 5 min walk. The stuff are friendly but not all of them speak a good english. The building is under reconstruction at the moment but it didnot bother me at all. I enjoyed staying here despite all the disadvantages mentioned.

Overall: We would stay here again if prices are cheep ! The location and room size make it a fantastic choice, despite the whole place needing alot of maintenance. ​The Highlights ​The Rooms: Huge, spacious, and very comfortable. The beds were great, and the pillows were actually supportive . ​Amenities: We loved having a good-sized fridge in the room that actually kept drinks cold. The showers were also good. ​Location & Access: You can’t beat being right on the beach. The private walking road makes getting to the sand very easy and safe also there's many great restaurants/ night markets nearby. ​The Pool: It’s a big, beautiful pool area—perfect for lounging. ​Areas for Improvement ​Pool Maintenance: While the pool is a great size, the water was unfortunately quite dirty during our stay. It needs a better filtration schedule. ​Dining: The breakfast is very basic. It’s fine for a quick bite, but don't expect a gourmet experience. Room: No suger or milk/milk powder in the room so drink it black. Room not cleaned before 3.30 afternoon so you can't relax after a long day before going out for dinner. Looks like hotel has room service but no phone in room to order food. A small chang beer will set you back 120 bht at the pool that's why u don't see many ppl drinking there. The second pool is not open as shown in agoda and the bigger rooms are 2 story with very steep steps to bed room ( check out video).

Really good breakfast feast every morning n is included with the room!! :) the beds are all soft n very comfortable!!!!:))) so very happy with the rooms! I've been in n around thailand for a month n only had 2 places with nice beds! N the rooms are immaculate!! 12/10!
