We had a wonderful stay at the Athena Royal Beach Hotel and would happily recommend it. One of the things we particularly love is that it is an adults-only hotel, which creates a peaceful, relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the property. From the moment we arrived, the staff have been incredibly friendly, professional and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. The hotel is in a beautiful beachfront location, with excellent pools and a very relaxing atmosphere. Everything is clean and well maintained, and our room is comfortable and spacious. Our room had a large shower so one can shower with high comfort. We have also been very impressed with the food. Both breakfast and dinner offer a huge variety of choices, with something to suit every taste. The quality is excellent, and we really enjoy having so many different options to choose from each day. Another lovely feature is the beautiful seafront promenade right outside the hotel, which stretches all the way towards Paphos Harbour and the medieval castle. We really enjoyed the walk, which took us around 25 minutes, and it was a wonderful way to enjoy the sea views and surroundings. What really makes our stay special, though, is the staff. Their kindness and attention to detail make us feel well looked after throughout our holiday. Overall, a fantastic adults-only hotel for a relaxing holiday in Paphos. We are thoroughly enjoying our stay and would definitely come back. Thank you to the whole team for making our holiday so enjoyable!

Lovely location, nice and clean hotel and the staff make it special as they are so friendly and helpful. Our cleaning lady was so nice and smiley. Walk to the centre was lovely too. Food at the buffet was delicious and staff were really accommodating and friendly. Option to sit outside on the balcony which was wonderful. Lots of day and evening activities if you wanted to get involved. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Truly wonderful hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly and approachable. Our stay from the first moments were truly splendid! One of the nicest hotels i have stayed in - the food was incredible - facilities in abundance - entertainment throughout the day! Special mention to Abiel of the entertainment team, true asset to the hotel that boy! I couldn't recommend this hotel enough. Should ever I have the opportunity to return to Cyprus, here is where I would stay

Just returned from a fabulous 10 day stay at the Athena Royal Hotel. The staff and service were excellent with everyone so friendly and accommodating. A couple of shout outs to Florin ( dining area manager) and Manisha (roof top bar waitress) who were both exceptional. We did half board and all the food was really good with an amazing choice. We had the opportunity to try the à la carte which was amazing. The roof top bar was one of our favourite spots to have a drink before dinner, watching the sun set. The pool area was one of the best in the area we felt after checking out other hotels, as the gardens where most of the sunbeds are located was extensive, so you had plenty of space and weren’t shoulder to shoulder with other guests. The pool isn’t heated so was a little fresh but it was only the start of May. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you want a relaxing adults only trip

Myself and my husband have been back to this hotel 5 times and have visited other constantinou hotels a total of 10 times. The rooms are good, maybe a little dated but not enough to complain about. Sunbeds are comfortable and plenty of them. The hotel is on the beach but it is mostly rocks so the hotel has built a jetty that you can walk down to access the sea. The second half of the jetty is not fixed so it is not really accessible for anyone who has trouble with mobility. As far as I am aware, none of the hotels on this stretch have a sand beach except for the Pioneer at the very top which has a small beach. 4 pools - 1 indoors. Outside ones get warm during the day in the height of summer so the indoor one is a nice one to cool off in. We thought the food was lovely this year. Great choice at every meal. Staff in the dinner halls are always pleasant. A special mention to Luna, Dina and Josef from the St Andrews Rooftop Bar. We visited here every night of our 13 night stay. Service is exceptional from all 3 and such lovely people. The age ranges for guests. I would say probably 60% were over 60 but also had large groups staying for weddings who seemed to be mid 20’s - early 30’s. It is an adult only hotel though. They did have an entertainment team but we don’t get involved in any of that. We will be booking again for next year. This hotel has everything we need for a perfect holiday.
