Coyaba Beach Resort

We had a great time here. The staff was friendly, attentive and accommodating. The rooms were nice and comfortable. The food was great. Not a large menu but I didn't have anything to eat I didn't like. The resort wasn't crowded, so it was quiet and laid back. The beach was excellent, water clear and the location was perfect. Located right next to Eco Dive, which is nice if you like diving, which we did. They were doing renovations, so unfortunately the swim up bar was closed. Wish we knew that ahead of time. The renovations didn't disturb anything within the resort. I would have no problem staying here again.

Pure-Flow

I stayed at this resort in April with two friends, and I honestly didn’t have many expectations going in. I personally love smaller resorts, so this was actually a really nice size for me. By the end of your stay, you start recognizing the staff and even some of the other guests, which gives the resort a friendly and homey feeling. My room was a good size, very clean, and cleaned every day. I also had a beautiful partial view of the sea, which I absolutely loved. There is only one main restaurant. The food was good, fresh, nicely presented, and had more of a home-cooked taste. However, the variety is limited. If you enjoy resorts with several specialty or à la carte restaurants, this probably isn’t the place for you. Personally, I would have loved to see at least one more restaurant option. The beach was definitely one of the highlights. The water was unbelievable—beautiful, refreshing but not cold, and very comfortable to swim in. There were plenty of places to sit. There isn’t a lot of shade right beside the water, but there is more shade closer to the garden area. The biggest downsides for me were the entertainment and the pool. The resort has a very relaxed, laid-back atmosphere, so the entertainment is quite limited. The pool also wasn’t very appealing to me, and I didn’t really enjoy that area as much as the beach. One thing to know is that you receive beach towels and are expected to keep them with you. They can replace them through your room, but there isn’t a separate towel station where you can just go and exchange them. Unfortunately, I got badly sunburned on my first day and had some health issues during the trip. Thankfully, there are local pharmacies and a medical centre within walking distance, and I had a good experience getting the help I needed. Overall, I had a good stay. The staff provided good service, my room was always clean, the food tasted good, and the beach and water were absolutely beautiful. I would give this resort 4 out of 5 stars. For me, adding another restaurant, improving the entertainment, and making the pool area a little more appealing would make a big difference. If you enjoy a smaller, quiet, laid-back resort with a beautiful beach, this could be a very good choice.

I stayed at the Coyaba Beach Resort from 21-28 April 2026 (via Virgin Holidays), for my best friend's wedding. Everything was handled really well. The resort is a very peaceful place, but also offers plenty of adventure if you desire it. The rooms are tidy, simply equipped but everything you really need. The rooms are cleaned daily, and fresh towels brought for both bathroom and beach. The rooms have both air conditioning and fans so you can keep nice and cool. The food is really nice, especially the fish. There is a wide range of options on offer, with buffet or a la carte menu choices, and two dining areas. You're also never far from a bar at Coyaba! There is even a Swim Up Bar in the pool, where you can enjoy a cocktail of the same name. All the cocktails were nice, as well as other drinks on offer. If you prefer the beach, there is a bar there too, as well as a tap to wash off sandy feet which is a welcome extra touch. The beach itself is wonderful, well kept and full of life beneath the surface of the water - if you enjoy snorkeling, green turtles can be seen as well as many types of fish. You can also borrow a kayak or paddleboard, or for the keen sailors the Resort has its own Hobie Catamaran. (You can also book scuba diving and boat trips from there.) Away from the sea, the hotel offers a gym facility and massage room. There is regular evening entertainment (music) and the option of guided nature walks by arrangement. The gardens are beautiful with many flowering plants, coconut palms, and you may spot a small lizard or local birds. We were made to feel welcome from start to finish. The staff are very attentive and friendly, especially Vanburn who was outstanding and added a personal touch, always making sure any concerns we had were taken care of. The Resort is within easy reach of local facilities and the town, and not far from the airport, although at no point did any of these feel intrusive. All in all I had a very pleasant stay at Coyaba Beach Resort. For me the trip to Grenada will likely be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, but if I am fortunate enough to return, I hope to stay at Coyaba again. As it was, for many of the other guests it was not their first time at the resort. Thank you for a wonderful time.

A lovely Hotel, with wonderful staff in a great location. Our first trip here, it won't be our last. The rooms are comfortable and we found air con worked well. WiFi we found to be strong throughout the resort. Food in the restaurants was very good with choices to satisfy all tasted. The gardens are well maintained with plenty of space to sun bathe on the loungers. Beach and pool bars where excellent and the beautiful beach gives wonderful views. There's a small but we'll equipped gym and the resort is only about 15 mins from the airport. The decor in the rooms could perhaps be updated, however don't let that stop you booking a stay at this paradise resort.

Went to Grenada for company business and stayed at Coyaba. The experience was exceptional. From the time of check in, my five night stay all the way to check out. Everyone was just friendly and accommodating making my trip enjoyable. I want to thank everyone from Francis at the restaurant, Areindell at the bar and Paul. A return visit is being planned that's not work related....
