This is a very good resort Marriott if you want some quality pool and beach time; but want to be in striking distance of Hoi An and Hue for more sightseeing activities. Marble Mountain is also walking distance. The rooms are huge, bathrooms are nice (big tub, walk in shower, 2 sinks, good pressure and hot water), air conditioning works well. It's not the newest Marriott property so there are some signs of age (some mattresses might need replacing) but everything works as expected. The sound proofing is good. I had an Ocean view room which gives a good view of sunrise over the beach. The breakfast is amazing - a huge international buffet with local, western, Korean, Japanese cuisines, also a dedicated dessert station with ice cream bar, a coffee area including local Vietnamese coffee specialties, and a large area with breads and fruits. The hotel was fairly busy when I stayed there but there were always seats and it never felt too crowded, whether I went at 7am or 9.30am. The gym is reasonable - has a bench and free weights (dumbbells) up to 20kg which is better than many hotels. There's a Smith machine, several weight machines, treadmills, cycles, yoga equipment, stretching equipment, and other things I'm sure I'm forgetting. There are enough restaurant and bar options on site so you shouldn't get too bored, though Da Nang has a pretty good food scene worth checking out. Staff were very nice.

Our stay here was one of the most relaxing experiences of our entire Vietnam trip. The resort offers a peaceful atmosphere away from the busy main Da Nang beach strip, while still being close enough to reach the city centre quickly and easily with a short Grab ride. The breakfast was exceptional, with a fantastic selection and excellent quality every morning. The beautiful beachfront setting, well-maintained grounds, and attentive staff made it easy to completely unwind and enjoy our holiday. A special thank you for acknowledging my son's 21st birthday during our stay. It was a thoughtful gesture that made our visit even more memorable. This was my first visit to Vietnam, and I was genuinely blown away by the warmth of the people, the culture, and the hospitality we experienced throughout our trip. Thank you to the entire team for helping make our stay so special. We look forward to returning in the future. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing beach resort close to Da Nang without being in the middle of the crowds. Thank you again for a wonderful stay. We hope to return in the future. Great family resort for a Danang beach holiday. Check-in was smooth and the front desk staff recognised my Marriott membership and kindly upgraded us to an ocean view room, much appreciated! Top notch for kids and families, the pool, private beach and kid's room kept the children happy throughout the entire stay. Getting to town is easy with Grab and taxis readily available. Breakfast buffet was delicious with plenty of variety. Marriott Danang delivers what you'd expect from the brand, and then some. Perfect for a family getaway, would definitely stay again if visit to Danang again.

We recently stayed at the Da Nang Marriott Resort and, unfortunately, our initial room was far below the standard I would expect from a Marriott property. When we first entered the room, the floor was noticeably dusty, the tables and surfaces were covered in dust, and the window was extremely dirty inside and out, with fingerprints everywhere. As the room was located on the ground floor, it did not seem like it would have been particularly difficult to clean properly. We had booked an ocean view room, but the dirty window made it difficult to even enjoy the view. It honestly felt like the room had not been occupied or thoroughly cleaned for quite some time. After raising the issue, the team offered to clean the room again, but we continued finding additional dirty spots. Eventually, we spoke with the manager, Anna, who handled the situation very professionally and kindly arranged a room change for us. The second room had a much better view and the window was significantly cleaner, which we appreciated. Anna’s service and professionalism were definitely the highlight of our stay. Anna also kindly offered us afternoon tea as a gesture of goodwill, which we genuinely appreciated, although unfortunately we did not have enough time during our stay to enjoy it. However, even the replacement room still had dusty floors and required additional housekeeping attention. While the staff were polite and tried their best to resolve the issue, the overall cleanliness simply did not meet the standard we expected from a Marriott property. I truly appreciate Anna for trying her best to make things right, but overall this was the dirtiest Marriott hotel experience I’ve personally had, and unfortunately I would not choose to stay here again.

One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast—absolutely outstanding. The variety, freshness, and quality exceeded expectations, with something for every palate. It was the perfect way to start each day. Dinner at Madame Son was equally impressive. The cuisine was exceptional, showcasing authentic Vietnamese flavors with a refined touch. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented, making it a truly memorable dining experience. From the attentive service to the relaxing atmosphere, everything about this resort made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy Da Nang in comfort and style.
