Thank you to everyone at Mar Bella Elix for the perfect honeymoon last month. We made such special memories in one of the most stunning places we have ever been. The rooms were beautiful and always extremely clean, and the swim up pool (rooms starting with 4) was the perfect place to enjoy a morning espresso listening to the waves and taking in the view of the beach and the natural surroundings. The food was beautiful in every restaurant including the buffet and the ‘dine-out’ restaurant. The app was easy to use and confirmed all of your breakfast/evening meals and gym/spa bookings. We had the full body massage, amazing! A taxi to Parga was around €56 each way but so worth it for the quaint streets, boutique shops and food & drink with a view. The servers around the pool in the day and at the evening entertainment in the Ruby bar were all very friendly and attentive with special thanks to Irakilis (sorry if we spelt this wrong!) who always remembered our order and was so charming. The beach was very clean with crystal blue seas, has a lovely bar and sunbed service and water sports, some of which were included in the all inclusive like kayaking and paddle-boarding. A truly beautiful stay, thank you.

Amazing place. Rooms are very nice and spacious especially those with a private pool. The food is really good and you get a lot of options. Access the beach, which is fantastic by elevator. The staff is very helpful. You can take great pictures everywhere. It is near the main cities, just 20 min drive.

Probably the most beautiful hotel we’ve ever stayed at. I couldn't rate it anything less than 5 stars. Highlights include: - the private pool in the room - the Indigo restaurant - the very friendly waitress (over 40, wearing glasses) in the main restaurant—she always made us feel right at home - the delicious Greek cuisine - the beach service. We are seriously considering returning here, even though we usually prefer exploring new places. It is truly a gem of Greek hospitality. 331 guests

This was our second stay at Elix Mar-Bella. We chose to return because our experience last year set a very high benchmark. While the hotel itself remains beautiful, our overall impression is that the standards have declined. And that makes the difference between a true five-star experience and a very good four-star one. The property is stunning. The views are spectacular, the rooms are tastefully designed, and the food is genuinely very good. The biggest issue we encountered was privacy. Maintenance staff repeatedly slowed down, stopped and stared at us while we were relaxing by our private pool. We reported the issue and shared photo evidence with management. To their credit, they apologised, addressed it with the team and the behaviour stopped. The hotel also feels understaffed. At Indigo, we waited around 30 minutes for our dirty plates to be cleared before dessert could be served. With only three waiters covering a full restaurant, the slow service came as no surprise. This is not a reflection on the staff, who worked incredibly hard, but on management’s staffing decisions. Shared spaces were left completely unmanaged. Although the resort offers dedicated facilities for children, the main pool, jacuzzi and evening bar were routinely taken over by unsupervised children. During meals, videos and games were often played at full volume, while on the reception level children repeatedly rolled heavy brass tables around without any intervention from staff. Parents are responsible for their children, but the hotel is responsible for the guest experience. Housekeeping quality itself was excellent (thank you, Amalia, great job). However, a five-star hotel should consistently provide evening turndown service. Ours only resumed after we specifically asked why it had stopped. Our overall impression is that the management has changed since our previous stay and that the current strategy appears to be focused on cost-cutting. It is difficult to find another explanation for entering peak season without enough staff to provide the level of service the hotel’s occupancy clearly requires. Despite everything, our stay was made considerably more enjoyable by several outstanding members of the team. Eleni at Saffron was exceptional, professional, attentive and remarkably calm despite what often seemed like an overwhelming workload. Amber was always warm, energetic and welcoming. A very special thank you goes to Stavroula, the Customer Retention Manager. She is exceptional with guests, incredibly professional and genuinely invested in resolving issues. A real asset to this hotel. I’m sharing all of this because we know what Elix is capable of. We experienced it last year, and that’s exactly why we came back. It would be a shame to see those standards continue to slip. This is a hotel we genuinely want to return to and confidently recommend to our friends and family. We hope this feedback is received in the constructive spirit in which it is intended, because Elix has everything it takes to deliver the five-star experience it promises.

We came with my husband for 6 days, and this is honestly the best experience of our lives! The hotel is unbelievably beautiful, perfectly maintained, every detail is thoughtfully designed, and everything is exceptionally clean. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. But what I especially want to highlight is the personalized approach - we had very strict dietary restrictions, and the hotel administrators introduced us to the chef, a true master of his craft. He carefully noted all of our intolerances and allergies and explained every product available at the breakfast buffet, as well as the à la carte restaurant menu, to make sure everything was completely safe for us. For me, this is incredibly impressive and valuable. I’ve fallen in love with this place and highly recommend it to everyone.
