Great stay here, room was huge and modern and clean. Internet was good quality and the TV had lots of options. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Pool area was really nice and had lots of lounges and chairs. We hired a bike for 50k and rode along the path and back. Breakfast was good and lots of options. We did the cultural night but it wasn't overly great so I wouldn't do that again. Bathroom was massive and had good amenities and shower, maybe could use some hooks on the walls for hanging towels. Good location, only a few minutes walk to the icon as well the main street with lots of shops and dining options super close.

We had the best stay at Griya Santrian in Feb 2026. Our family ranged from 9 years old to 76 years old and everyone was beyond satisfied. Don't be put off by reviews of construction in and out of the resort. We were hardly aware of any renovations in the resort and the sidewalks along the front of the hotel are completely finished and very walkable. If you're looking for a traditional Balinese-style hotel with gorgeous gardens and lovely staff, easy beach access and great location in Sanur, Griya Santrian is an excellent choice.

Stayed here for 7 nights. Had a terraced deluxe room which was perfect and was a few steps from the pool, plenty of space and great facilities. Staff are friendly and can't help you enough. Breakfast had a good selection. Bar and restaurant are a great location for sunset and good value for money. Sanur is my preferred choice much more quiet but still got good bars and restaurant nearby, if you fancy a sing a long i recommend the the wicked Parrot. Would definitely return. I would use Discova to do a private day trip.

Stayed for several days last week, in one of the new villa. Comfy and spacious, we could not ask for more. The resort is so beautiful and tranquil. Walking distance to good restos, coffee hangouts, and the Icon. Staffs were very helpful too. Would love to come back few years from now.

Awful service, stopped here as it was implied we could use the pool, ordered some nachos and waited for them to come before going in the pool, but they kept telling us 5 more minutes until eventually an hour passed, and in the end they were so basic and the place was practically empty that it just made no sense how it had taken that long. Anyway after eating them we got in the pool, but after about 20 seconds were told the pool was for hotel guests only.. couldn’t believe it 🤦🏼‍♂️ The waitress Pratnya handled it really badly but she was clearly just a spokesperson for the manager Suria who we asked to talk to and was just incredibly rude about it, no compromise - we told him we’d just have to leave a bad review but he couldn’t have cared less. Just a heads up.
