The view from room and from the pool deck was magnificent. Thanks to Mr. Kelvin Tam, the duty manager was very understanding and professional. Really appreciate the service I received. The promenade is literally just outside the hotel, offer nice harbour view, morning and evening walk is an absolute bonus to my stay. Whampo MTR station is just 3 mins, with Aeon mall and all good eateries in whampo and Hunghom nearby. The room felt grand and nice. I will stay there again for sure. Just one let down was the check in process. I was standing for the line for 40 mins to check in.

It is a nice modern hotel with a beautiful lobby, and spacious room which are also quite new. The location is very good as it is very close to MTR station, bus station and a taxi stand. However, for a five star hotel, staff service is to be improved, we did not feel welcome when we checked in, instructions were unclear, staff were not very polite either during both check in and check out processes, also we had to pay for water and toothbrush which should be free considering it’s a five star hotel. Also a huge minus for me is that the bathroom can stink for a long time after use as it does not have ventilation. But overall, taken into account its competitive price, it’s still a decent hotel with nice views and it was a comfortable stay even though I would really like to see a vent in the bathroom.

It was a lovely hotel, location was perfect and the harbour view rooms was great! However, I cannot fathom how is a so called 5 star hotel have no basic customer service skills???? From the moment we walked in the door, there was no greeting from any of the staff, none!! We were simply directed to wait in a line ny a man who didnt day a word to us. This, unfortunately was the service we received during our entire stay of 8 days. Asking concierge questions was greeted with a sharp short answer and walking away. I did not get one greeting or smile from any of the staff downstairs from reception, concierge, the doorman. I was made to feel like a burden during my stay. Disgusting!! No basic amenities provided whatsoever, not even water! No shower cap even. Everything was at an additional charge. Save yourself the money and book elsewhere. Do yourself a favour and book elsewhere! Somewhere where you are actually welcomed. Stephanie in the Club Lounge was the only one that made an effort. Always greeted us with a smile and willing to help us with recommendations and anything else needed!! She and her manager Vickie were both very professional and warm and went out of their way to help. Only upside to our stay!!

Stayed in a Deluxe Harbour View room on level 8 for a few nights, and it was decent. The hotel has a stylish interior and a calm, relaxing vibe. The room is quite spacious by Hong Kong standards and offers a stunning harbour view on both sides. However, the weather can be cloudy at times, so you might not get a good daytime view or much of a night skyline. Daily housekeeping was provided, and the staff kept the room spotless. The bed and bathtub were super comfy. Shampoo and body wash were available, but there was no complimentary drinking water, iron, or dental kits. The reception and restaurant areas felt a bit chaotic, so I used the self check-in kiosk and didn’t really interact with staff. The pool was closed during my stay, which was a shame. The location is convenient, with a short walk to Whampoa MRT station and Hung Hom ferry pier, making it easy to get around Hong Kong.
