The rooms are decent, but nothing extraordinary. What stood out the most was the staff's attitude and service. Nearly every employee I interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. However, the food was well below what I would expect considering the price. It was, without a doubt, the most disappointing part of the experience. As for the music, I didn't hear any rock during my stay. Perhaps that was my own expectation based on the Hard Rock Hotel name, but I was expecting an atmosphere that reflected that identity a bit more. Overall, it was an acceptable experience thanks to the staff, but there are definitely some important areas that could be improved.

Our experience at this resort was disappointing from beginning to end. Our room had multiple issues, including a strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom, a flooded bedroom caused by the shower, and an elevator that was frequently out of service. The food was below average, and as vegetarians, we found there were very few options available. When we approached the concierge for assistance, he was dismissive and rude, telling us there was nothing he could do. After insisting on speaking with the chef directly, we were finally able to receive some help. The chef was understanding and accommodating, unlike the concierge. The resort also closed several restaurants because occupancy was below 40%, leaving only one restaurant open for meals. Unfortunately, guests were not informed of these closures in advance, which made dining options even more limited. We also emailed the hotel to report our concerns but never received a response, which was very disappointing. The one highlight of our stay was the spa. The treatments were excellent, and the spa staff were professional, welcoming, and provided exceptional service. Overall, this was not the experience we expected, and based on our stay, we would not return.

My family absolutely loves the Hard Rock Vallarta! It’s a beautiful resort with amazing food, kind staff, a gorgeous beach, and so much to do. We keep coming back because we enjoy it so much. The only feedback I’d like to share is that during our last visit, I noticed there weren’t any non-alcoholic beer options. I’m currently avoiding alcohol for health reasons, and while the virgin cocktails are great, sometimes you just want a cold beer on the beach for that “vacation feeling.” I completely understand that offering it on tap may not be practical, but having a few canned non-alcoholic options would be a great addition for guests like me who are limiting alcohol but still want to feel included in the experience. That said, this is a small note in what is otherwise an amazing resort. We’re big fans of Hard Rock Vallarta and are already planning our next trip!

We just got back last week from a wonderful week at the Hard Rock Vallarta The resort was easy to navigate, busy enough to keep it lively, but we never struggled to find chairs on the beach, pool or get into any restuarants. Shout to Ana and Christian at the front desk, James and Hector at Concierge, Frida from the sports team and Alma at the towel stations This was probably the first time that a hotel offered resort credits that was actually worth it. We were able to do excursions at a very affordable cost because of their resort credits. The hotel itself is right across a pharmacy, and there is also a grocery store a few blocks away in walking distance and a shopping mall, so dont worry about overpacking everything, you can get what you need quite easily Id say the only disappointing thing was some of the evening shows were cancelled, so there were only 3 shows while we were there. Im assuming this has to do with it not really being busy anymore Very family friendly

We just had an amazing stay at the Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta. Everything about the experience was outstanding—the service, pools, bars, restaurants, room, beach, and especially the staff. We decided to splurge and book a Rock Star Suite, which had two bedrooms with a separate living area between them. It was the perfect setup for a family traveling with teenagers since everyone had their own space. The hotel offers 24-hour room service, nightly turndown service, and excellent food. The level of service was truly top-notch. Our room included butler service, and Alex, Francisco, and Uri went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed throughout the stay. From the daily room cleaning to the friendliness and professionalism of every staff member we encountered, the entire experience was impressive. The hotel will be closing soon for renovations, but we’re already looking forward to coming back to see the updates. The location in Nuevo Vallarta is about 25 minutes from downtown Puerto Vallarta, but taxis are easy and inexpensive. Highly recommend for families with older kids or teenagers—the activities and amenities kept everyone in our family happy. We had a fantastic vacation here!
