Everything was perfect! From the time we arrived we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff who made check-in quick, made sure we relaxed with cool mint towels and a glass of sparkling wine, and gave us all the information of activities and food for the week. We then received help with our bags to our bungalow which had the most beautiful and relaxing views to enjoy. The waiters/waitresses were amazing going above and beyond to keep dinner flowing smoothly while also making sure you were taken care of. The activities like water sports and yoga were very relaxing but also very fun. Overall this was the best vacation experience I’ve had in all my years of traveling and made our honeymoon perfect!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay! We stayed for a full week and it has the most breathtaking views. The water sports were so much fun to do. Huge thank you to Gerald for teaching us how to sail! Food was soo yummy! Drinks were delicious! The staff is very helpful and friendly. They were on top of everything! We also booked a couples massage at their spa and it was the most relaxed we’ve ever been. I would definitely recommend staying here, it’s worth every penny.

From the moment my Mom and I arrived at Hawksbill, I knew it was special. The resort itself is absolutely gorgeous with lush grounds, breathtaking views, and a sense of serenity. My suite was beautifully appointed, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with loads of privacy and close to the pool and main dining area. But what truly made my stay unforgettable was the staff. Every single person I encountered went above and beyond, creating an atmosphere that felt less like a hotel and more like being welcomed into a family. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care elevated every moment of my visit. I want to especially recognize Corlette, whose kindness and hospitality was particularly noteworthy. She made us feel completely at home. There were many more as well from grounds keepers, housekeeping, water sports, restaurant/bar, gift show lady and reception. Everyone was genuinely wonderful. If you’re looking for a place that combines natural beauty, comfort, and the kind of heartfelt service that lingers long after you leave, Hawksbill is the perfect choice. I can’t wait to return.

We picked this resort because of Eden Beach. This beach is one of the few legally permitted clothing-optional beaches in the Caribbean and is located at the Hawksbill Resort. However we were delighted to discover that this resort has a lot more to offer. Its rooms are spacious, well appointed and with views of the ocean. Its restaurant provides an excellent selection of food, and the service is wonderful. If we have any complaints, it was with the air conditioning in our room. It was always too cold even when we turned the target temperature up high. We were either too cold with it on, or too hot with it off.

this resort is truly a hidden gem! It's beautiful with all the hills and the landscaping is well taken care of. Truly serene and relaxing. There are some negatives with this resort though. The resort workers hardly smiled and they did not treat my family member and I with the same respect that they treated other guests with. I am from the United States and majority of those traveling here to this resort are from the UK so I'm not sure if that has something to do with this (shame on them if it does). When asked for a small and simple task such as a refill for water at the buffet or another cup of coffee, the resort workers rolled their eyes and looked bothered. Yet, they had no issue doing this for other tourists who were staying at the resort (that aren't from the United States). Despite the resort workers attitudes, we remained appreciative, always thanked them, and presented with a smile. We never gave anyone a hard time, but the attitudes at this resort did not change. It is blatantly obvious that this resort does not favor those from the United states. We were fortunate to have maybe 2-3 workers that were kind though. Because we stayed here for 9 nights, we had the opportunity to do 2 a la carte dinners at the sea grapes restaurant by making a reservation. We made a reservation one night to eat there. I was shocked to see that pretty much everything on their menu was an up charge of at least 30$. I paid the extra money to get a seafood pasta. The seafood was overcooked and was not worth the extra money i paid. We also had to wait over an hour for our dinner to be served to us. I ended up not making another reservation due to the crazy upcharge in the food and wine, and the crazy wait. The buffet food in general was hit or miss, but they always offered a variety which was nice. And again, with staying for 9 nights.. they refused to change our bathing towels or give us new ones. Finally on the 5th day, we had asked for new towels and they gave us one body towel and one hair towel (for 2 people). The cleaning lady also seemed annoyed that we asked, even though we were extremely kind when we asked. The ocean is pretty cold this time of year here, not sure if it's like this year round or not. The positive with this resort is that you have 4 beaches to choose from, to swim in; however, only one beach is swimmable. The main beach on seagrapes is swimmable, but the sand slopes quite steep.. so you have to climb to get out of the ocean to get up and out of the water. The other beaches are non swimmable due to rocks or the current being too rough to swim in. Ultimately, I was shocked by my experience here to say the least. I've traveled all over the world in the Caribbean, Europe, and United Kingdom and i never once had an experience with resort/hotel workers being so rude, like they were here. Before my trip, l've read raving reviews about this resort and how kind everyone is.. but after doing some more research, i realized that's because the people leaving the reviews are from the UK, so they definitely had a better experience and treatment then i did. This was an expensive trip and I could have paid less to go somewhere else with better customer service, better beaches that were swimmable, better quality of food, and entertainment. The resort in itself is 8/10 due to the beauties of it, but the customer service, beaches, food, and entertainment was definitely below a 5 out of 10. A heads up to Americans if you want to travel here, don't.. unless you want unfair treatment. This resort is definitely geared towards those from the UK and older crowds. It truly did not matter how kind we were, we were definitely made to feel left out. I just hope other resorts in Antigua aren't like this because it truly is a beautiful island. I also want to add, I NEVER leave negative reviews like this... ever. The alienation though because of where i am from was blatantly obvious. This review can hopefully provide insight to future travelers from the U.S. and hopefully to the resort as a whole.
