I had a long stay (months) at the hotel along with a big team of mine. The stay was excellent with exceptional services from all the staff. After spending such a good time now It feels like a second home to me at Baku. Restaurant staff Ali, Turan, Səadət, Naila, Samra, Sabina, Aitaj and many more really managed a warm and welcoming breakfast at hotel. Reception and management staff Ms Irada, Mr Seymur, Sultan and David at executive lounge were all very friendly and helping round the clock. There are many more whose names have not been mentioned but they all worked together to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. I had few maintenance related things which is normal in a four month stay at place, nevertheless all issues were well taken care of.

I spent nearly two weeks at the Hyatt Regency Baku, and I can honestly say that from a service standpoint, it was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at in the world. The property is an older but very well-maintained building in a prestigious, more residential district of Baku, outside of the main tourist traffic areas. It has many great features. The rooms are quite large. The lobby is comfortable and not too stuffy or overly formal. You’ll probably read that the gym facilities, which are managed by a third party called World Class Gym, are truly world-class, and that is absolutely true. They are the best gym facilities I’ve ever had access to from a hotel stay, including a full 25-meter pool and excellent services. Special shout-out to Ilkin, David, Nizami, Arzuman, Turhan, and many others whose names I’m unfortunately failing to mention. The general manager also introduced himself. Of course, the service was excellent as a Globalist in the lounge and at breakfast, but what impressed me most is that the service seemed excellent for all guests, which is always the true mark of a great hotel. The property is a former Park Hyatt and continues to live up to that level of service, even though it is now a Regency. I was upgraded to a corner room using a suite upgrade award. The dinner service in the lounge was interesting, with a wide and somewhat peculiar array of cold dishes and two hot dishes per night, and they were happy to customize items based on our preferences. Breakfast was excellent, with the main chef making eggs to order. Ingredient quality could be slightly improved in areas like coffee machines, ice, or higher-end juices, which would be nice at a hotel of this level. Room service food was good overall, with a small service hiccup that was promptly resolved. Housekeeping was a perfect 10 out of 10. Every day, the room was serviced by the time I returned, with ample towels and amenities. The welcome gift was beautiful. The hotel is secure yet welcoming. It can be a little difficult for taxis to find the exact arrival point for some reason. A special thank-you again to duty manager Ilkin, who truly went above and beyond with his kindness, friendliness, and genuine interest in guests’ lives and travel journeys. I consider this stay one of the best of my entire travel career, spanning over 100 countries and thousands of hotels. I plan to return as often as possible, especially given that it is a Category 1 for points redemptions. I can confidently say this is the best Category 1 hotel in the world. Do not waste your points elsewhere. Make it a priority to come to Baku and stay at this amazing hotel. Thank you to the entire team.

Hyatt Regency Baku is situated in a good, quiet location that provides a relaxing atmosphere while remaining accessible to the city center. The service was great across all departments, reflecting true hospitality. Both the breakfast and the Regency Club lounge offered a solid selection of quality food and drinks, making the stay very comfortable. It is a reliable and high-quality choice for both business and leisure travelers in Baku.

Overall, everything was wonderful, especially considering the price and the type of hotel. The only thing is that the location is not right in the city center, so you definitely need to use some kind of transportation to get around. In general, we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel itself is a bit dated and not very modern, but the staff were extremely friendly and attentive, which made a big difference. A huge thank you to everyone who helped us with our reservation — we had a few issues at first, but thankfully everything was resolved thanks to the team. Many thanks again!
