Very overrated hotel. The location is not great, the rooms are small, and the hotel itself is quite compact. The surrounding area feels old and run-down, and the staff were not particularly accommodating. The biggest surprise was the city tax—AZN 6 per person per night. For 4 adults, we paid AZN 24 for one night, whereas other hotels charged us only AZN 8 in total for two nights. The room initially allocated to us was very small. The shower temperature fluctuated unexpectedly between hot and cold, and noise from neighboring rooms was clearly audible. There are also very few rooms with a worthwhile view. At check-in, my friend traveling with his 6 year-old daughter requested a room with a larger bed, not an extra bed. Unfortunately, the front desk failed to understand the request and kept insisting on charging for an additional bed, without offering a suitable room alternative. The breakfast spread was fairly large, but nothing stood out in terms of quality or variety. The indoor breakfast seating area was quite small, and the atmosphere was dark and uncomfortable. The only real positive was that the rooms were clean. Overall, I would rate this as a 3-star hotel. For an additional AZN 50–100, there are much better options available.

Ivy Garden Hotel is a cozy and pleasant hotel about 2 kilometers from the city center. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the dining area was charming, with nice outdoor seating for warm days. We enjoyed the pool, sauna, and Turkish bath, which were included, clean, and well maintained. There was also a kids’ area, which is great for families. Our room was comfortable, although we would have preferred a slightly larger bed. Breakfast had a good variety, and the lady making omelets was especially kind and friendly. Overall, we had a very nice stay. The only downside was the price, which felt a little high considering the distance from the center. Thank you to the Ivy Garden Hotel team.

Had a reservation for this years GP weekend, booked early with a good rate. Suddenly they are messaging me saying "The government needs all their rooms", and that i need to cancel my booking. Obviously just trying to price gouge the room, as the hotel still has many rooms available for the same dates i booked, but of course more than 4x the price. Consider this when booking with this hotel, they will screw you over if they can. Deplorable.

Staff was soo good well behaved and so humble the management was so understanding and sweet ambiance was luxurious rooms were so neat and spacious with a great view and the furniture and maintenance of rooms were great everything was perfect and on point. Had a great experience love the hotel. Highly recommended ❤️❤️❤️
