I had a amazing stay at this hotel. Being in the middle of the wildlife and seeing animals made this an unique experience! The hotel is located next to Kruger National Park which made it convenient and accessible for the safari tours. The staff at this hotel were helpful with arranging safari tours and provided a delicious to go box lunch for early tours. My safari was with Kurt Safari which was amazing! The restaurant staff were the highlight of my stay. They were absolutely amazing and kind! I sat at the same table every night and had the pleasure of having the best server! I don't remember her name, but she was very kind and attentive as I was traveling solo. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner at this hotel was phenomenal! I ate so much during my stay as the hotel had a variety of food options! I had breakfast and dinner included, but they do have a bar near the pool that sells lunch as well. I will always treasure my time at this hotel. It was one of the most unique hotel experiences of all of my travels so far! I would highly recommend!!

Kruger Gate Hotel was one of the best resort experiences I have ever had. Not only are you on the doorstep of kruger, the wildlife permeates through the place by walking through it contantly (the non dangerous ones!). The hotel itself is well kept/looks good and is filled with leafy trees. The infinity pool looking out over the river is fantastic and you are bound to see many Animals from there alone. The staff are all great people. Lawrence and so many countless others always went out of their way to help me whenever they could, even setting us up with things for other parts of our trip at no benefit to them. A bank of memories with good people!

Lovely experience with the best people, service and overall accommodation. Couldn’t be happier even if it was only for 3 days. Thanks to the lovely staff Roel, Debra, Aleck, Lucrition, Walter, Hank, Prince, Wellington, Given, Respect, Enoc, Monica, Sara, Rose, just to name a few. The safari was great and we saw most of everything, and at the hotel there is a spa, and I saw elephants crossing the river. Truly wonderful. Thanks to all the cleaners and workers as well for keeping this paradise on earth a living heaven. Thanks, Alexander

Thanks what a wonderful place > The staff are excellent kind friendly and go out of their way to make sure you are happy. We had a group of 9 on safari with us and they loved this hotel. The buffet was best great variety and excellent food. The rooms are great have everything you need and when I asked for extra pillow no problem Thanks The porters are very helpful. This hotel is now one of my family’s favorites of all time! The staff, communication, and accommodation are all incredible. We are still dreaming of the dips at the dinner buffet- and the chocolate cake! We booked all safaris through the hotel- perfection. Our guide Alex for our private safari was especially wonderful. We sat, nearly alone, watching a rhino for about 30 minutes. Pure South African perfection.
