Was directed here by Accor feedback form to leave a Google review: I have stayed in different tiers and brands of Accor group of hotels and this was my first time staying with Movenpick. If you go to the Accor website, Movenpick is on the premium tier - aligned with Pullman, Novotel and Mercure if I have to name the same tier I have stayed in before. I would say Movenpick have been the most docile and less hospitable of the 4. It is still better than say Ibis but this is a budget tier. However if I'm comparing the same tier, Movenpick Hanoi staff have been the most docile and meek in dishing out the higher tier of hospitality except for the structures and rooms. I have also stayed in Sofitel in Hcmc if I'm comparing about country level Accor hotel. They made our stay very comfortable and kept checking up on us and there's the welcome fruit platter with the Accor member letter which made our stay feel that bit more privilege and special. I know all these are just a hospitality facade and they're not expensive but it's all about the feeling and care they're giving to us members instead of a normal guest walking in. If I have to even give an example, I came from Sapa small little boutique Lodge runned by a lady (not a huge corporation MNC like Accor). They made our stay so personal and comfortable. Even when we were waiting for our shuttle to fetch us, the guy at the reception actually prepared our supper for us secretly! He did not made us aware of it and only passed it to us when we were going to the door and quickly handover the handmade sandwiches and drinks to us in a nice paper bag. This is the extra hospitality I'm talking about, not the price nor the value, it can be intangible services but Hanoi Movenpick failed to even give a glimmer of such. Overall, I wouldn't stay in Movenpick Hanoi for the time being and probably head to look for other brands from Accor (eg M Gallery) if I ever visit Hanoi again. I might still want to try Movenpick Bangkok if I ever do visit Bangkok soon to compare whether its a brand level issue or just a particular hotel culture issue. (I need to reiterate that none of the staff were offending nor rude to me, and I'm just giving a feedback to a "premium" hotel. If this was Ibis the service would have been beyond expectation as they're not giving any expectation from the beginning)

The rooms are absolutely stunning : spacious, beautifully designed, and impeccably clean. The staff goes above and beyond, always attentive and ready to assist with genuine warmth. The location is central, making it incredibly easy to explore everything on foot. Breakfast is both varied and exceptional, with a wide selection of high-quality options. The atmosphere at Lounge 83 is elegant and inviting , perfect for a relaxed drink. The pool is a true highlight, offering a Miami-inspired vibe right in the heart of Hanoi, with excellent food served throughout the day. Finally, dining at O Macanese is an outstanding experience : every dish is a delight. I highly recommend it.

Hotel de la Coupole – MGallery Sa Pa is an extraordinary hotel that feels like a destination in its own right. Designed by Bill Bensley, it blends French haute couture with the colour and heritage of Sa Pa’s hill tribes in a way that is bold, elegant and unforgettable. The rooms are spacious, warm and beautifully appointed, with excellent soundproofing, luxurious bathrooms and views over misty mountains or the town below. Every space is richly detailed yet inviting, making the hotel feel indulgent without ever being overwhelming. Dining and facilities elevate the experience even further. Breakfast and dining at Chic are refined and high quality, while the Absinthe Bar is one of the most atmospheric cocktail venues in northern Vietnam. The heated indoor pool and spa are perfect in Sa Pa’s cool climate, and the central location makes exploring effortless. Polished, attentive service ties it all together. This is not just one of the best hotels in Sa Pa—it is one of the most memorable luxury stays in Vietnam.

During what was supposed to be a 3 night stay in the Movenpick Hanoi, my husband and I had a great impression of the hotel. The room was lovely, clean and spacious. There were lovely breakfast options and the pool area was fabulous. During any interactions we had with staff, we found them to be kind and friendly, offering advise on things to see and do in Hanoi. When a medical issue resulted in extending our stay here, to say the staff went above and beyond would be an understatement. The kindness and compassion shown to us my each staff member, right up to the General Manager Thomas, was incredible. The help we were given was so appreciated and extending our stay was so simple. During our unplanned extra time in the hotel, the staff went out of their way to speak to us and make sure we were looked after. We cannot thank each staff member enough, they are a credit to the hotel. Could not recommend this hotel anymore.

I stayed at Mövenpick Hotel Hanoi Centrefor a two nights and absolutely loved the experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were super welcoming — they greeted me with a lovely welcome tea, which felt so refreshing after a long flight. 🌸 The room was clean, modern, and cozy, with all the little details that make you feel comfortable. The location is also perfect — right in the city centre, easy to walk to many famous spots around Hanoi. And I have to say — the breakfast was amazing!🥐🍳 They had a great selection of both Asian and Western dishes, all beautifully presented. The pastries were fresh, the coffee was great, and I especially loved their local Vietnamese options. Overall, this hotel made my stay in Hanoi truly pleasant. Warm service, tasty food, and a relaxing atmosphere — definitely recommend to anyone visiting Hanoi! 💖
