Unfortunately, my experience at Aparthotel Muthu Praia da Oura was quite disappointing. The drink options were very limited, especially for an all-inclusive style stay. Some basic shots were not available, and the selection was not enough, to the point where guests felt the need to buy drinks from outside the hotel. The food service was also poor. At the kebab/snack area and other services, we had to wait a long time just to get a simple snack, and at times there was nobody at the counter to serve guests. The restaurant had very limited options, especially when it came to good-quality protein. There was often a lack of meat and chicken, which was disappointing. The dessert/freezer section was also not well maintained. Ice creams were often missing, and when they were available, they were crystallised and not fresh. Another issue was the general attitude of some staff members. Many did not seem very motivated or willing to help, and the service did not feel very welcoming or attentive. Overall, the hotel has potential because of its location, but the food, drinks, service, and staff attitude need serious improvement. Based on this experience, I would not recommend it unless these issues are addressed.

Not a big fan of this hotel or resort, however, my family and I have just eaten at the Mandarin specialty restaurant and was pleasantly surprised as I wasn’t expecting much. Food at the Mandarin was nice and did not taste like the mass produced stuff. Chetan and Jyoti were exceptional, attentive and great hosts. We had dietary requirements to which Chetan and Jyoti were very good with and we have no complaints. They took care of us and we are very grateful- thank you Chetan and Jyoti!

3 of us just visited the Mexican restaurant staff are wonderful food was fantastic. Portion size perfect. Definitely recommend as well as the Indian. Can’t fault. The evening driver who transfers guests from one hotel to another ( there are 7 i believe) works so hard very patient and welcoming. Happy to help. He is a credit to the hotel.

We decided on the Mexican choice tonight and I have to say that the service and food was 10/10. We had the chicken burrito and the beef tacos. I’ve never had them that tasted this good. Just the right amount of sauces drizzled on so all the flavours weren’t compromised. We will definitely return. We have a young female waitress who was very polite. It was nice that the head chef, Chetan-Ester took time to check on the guests and see how we enjoyed our meals. It’s nice to see people take care in all areas of the service.

Loved the Mexican restaurant El Mexicano restaurant in the beautiful Muthu gardens. The staff Cheran - Madhav were very attentive and helpful and the food was delicious. We stayed in the sister hotel Muthu Forte do Vale hotel. Everything was perfect at the restaurants and hotel and the staff were lovely. Great that you can use the different MGM hotel facilities and restaurants. Highly recommended.
