Paradise Koh Yao (Koh Yao Noi)

Pros: Amazingly beautiful location, peaceful, private beach , lovely rooms (we stayed in a sea view villa with plunge pool..paid upgrade), beautifully kept grounds!! Hassle free transfer to and from airport (Although you have to pay for this..not sure why??). The service generally was great. Cons: Food quality and quantity could be improved..good… but could be better. Regarding breakfast ..selection is good but we asked for Mango at breakfast (abundant in Thailand ) but we were told it would about 5 euros extra per person!! Why? Other hotels don’t charge extra for fruit!! We ate in the Italian section one evening and the ice cream I was given was literally a half eaten yogurt from breakfast!!!! The service is also rather slow. The cocktails also need improving..let’s say they are a bit on the weak side!! One day the pool was closed the whole day.. why? Anyway despite these negatives..I would happily stay here again for a few days if in this part of Thailand and would for sure recommend it to anyone!! Especially the sea view villas!! The location cannot be beaten

Parade is well named, the hotel is straight out of one of those rom coms with Jennifer Anderson or Adam Sandler. You are transferred from the mainland by speed boat and met at the jetty by a golf cart which takes you to reception & then your room. My room looked out over the stunning bay, with the ample bed positioned to take full advantage of the view through the glass frontage. Outside, the room had a huge private balcony with an outdoor shower, comfortable, covered seating area complete with swing chair, two arm chairs & table, all cooled with a remote control ceiling fan. To the front of the balcony there was an infinity plunge pool & jacuzzi. Inside was equipped with air-conditioning, an amply stocked minibar & wine fridge, tea & coffee making, TV and a Bluetooth clock/speaker to play your own music. The rest of the hotel has an excellent pool, 2 restaurants, 2 bars, spa, lots of comfortable seating & sunbeds. All of the staff were excellent, cheerful & very helpful and they learnt quickly about your food & drink preferences. Several of the staff spoke fluent English. On the beach, there wer several nice touches, like a huge swing strung between palm trees, several hammocks and bird feeding stations for the local hornbills. I was on B&B, which was excellent, other meals were available between 11am & 10pm the food was very good and not overly expensive - they also arranged special themed buffet nights, which were a little more costly. The bar service was very good and the cocktails were excellent, you had to wait a short while for service - but there is nothing to rush for. I stayed as a solo traveller for the middle 4 days of a 21 day trip - it gave me an excellent opportunity to relax & catch my breath, but, being on my own, 4 days was sufficient. This is an excellent destination for a honeymoon or family gathering but be prepared to make your own entertainment. I didn't leave the resort, but there is a bus you can book for the local village, and there are various other trips. Sports equipment, including kayaks and paddleboards are complementary. I did have 86 steps to climb to my room, so check if you have mobility issues. All in all an amazing first impression backed up by a very pleasant stay - couldn't fault the place or the staff.

I am glad I took as much time as I did searching for an amazing resort within my budget because Paradise Koh Yao did not disappoint! Yes, it's a little out of the way but you truly find a slice of heaven here. The view is unreal and the rooms are well designed. There's plenty of activities to do and they are pretty well aware of dietary restrictions. One let down was one of the front desk ladies... She was just down right rude. Everyone else was fantastic though! One suggestion for getting there. If you are flying into HKT and going straight to Paradise, then I'd just have them arrange an airport pick-up to the pier and use their private boat service. It will safe you time and a headache. Otherwise you might have to take a long and bumpy, jungle truck ride to the resort from the pier in Koh Yao Noi.

Wow, what an amazing hotel! If you're looking for a place to truly relax while enjoying outstanding comfort, this is the perfect choice. The Wi-Fi works everywhere, even on the beach, which was a huge plus. The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious, and the staff made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. I would happily come back to Koh Yao Noi just to stay at this hotel again. It was definitely worth every penny. Highly recommended!

Paradise Koh Yao Resort was simply one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, everything felt calm, beautiful, and genuinely welcoming. The resort itself is stunning, surrounded by nature with breathtaking views - but what truly makes this place special is the people. The staff are incredible - kind, attentive, and always with a warm, genuine smile. And I have to mention Boom, the manager, who is truly exceptional. She went above and beyond to make sure we felt taken care of in every possible way. Thanks to her, our honeymoon was celebrated in the most thoughtful and beautiful way. Every detail was handled with care, and you could feel that it came from the heart. The food was absolutely delicious - fresh, high quality, and consistently excellent. Every meal was a pleasure. Everything about this place feels easy, pleasant, and just right. The atmosphere, the service, the attention to detail - all at a very high level. I recommend this hotel with all my heart. They truly deserve every compliment.
