Our stay at Pimalai Resort & Spa was an absolute dream from start to finish. It is easily one of the most stunning and special places we have ever visited. The resort is breathtakingly beautiful. The seamless blend of sophisticated design and the surrounding wild nature creates a true sense of peace. The landscaping is simply stunning—everything is lush and meticulously maintained to the highest standard. The staff's hospitality was exceptional. Throughout our entire stay, we felt genuinely cared for; the team was always attentive, smiling, and eager to help with any request with warmth and professionalism. A truly flawless culinary experience. The food was simply excellent, fresh, rich, and carefully prepared for every single meal. Pimalai is the ultimate choice for anyone looking for a rare combination of luxury, pristine nature, and top-tier service. We are already looking forward to coming back!

A dream location on a beautiful island in Thailand. The rooms are comfortable, the facilities are excellent, and the entire property is peaceful, well-maintained, and professionally managed. That said, something is missing to elevate this resort from very good to truly exceptional. It lacks the extra touch—the memorable "wow factor" that distinguishes the world's finest luxury resorts. Everything is pleasant and of high quality, but there is little that feels genuinely unique or unforgettable. One aspect I personally found frustrating is the pricing transparency. This is clearly a premium resort, and there is nothing wrong with charging premium prices. However, instead of advertising rates and then adding a 10% service charge plus VAT, I would prefer the resort to be more upfront about the true cost. Luxury should feel effortless, and unexpected additions to the bill detract from that experience. In the world of resorts it's definitely 5-Star, in the world of 5-Star resorts it's more 4-Star.

Amazing stay - staff were attentive & nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast buffet was amazing & facilities were great. Villa room was beautiful & turndown service was a great touch. 10/10 recommend Pimalai! Only suggestion - The jetty transfer with the walk on the bridge was rocky, and someone did fall in the water with their belongings so I would suggest warning guests about risks so they can keep their valuables safe during transfer!

Picked up from Krabi Airport. Airport transfers seamless both ways. Checked in with Poon. Again every pleasant and quick. Rooms were very clean and well equipped. Good sleep quality. Mattress and pillows were good. Views from rooms 126 and 128 were fantastic... overlooking the Andaman sea. Breakfast was good. Though if staying more than 5 days gets a bit monotonous, need more variety. Lai at the restaurant was very helpful every morning. The gym was well equipped. Bicycle trainers and treadmills were all working. A separate room for aerial yoga. All the staff we encountered were polite, smiling and courteous. Always obliging to help. Grounds lush and well kept. Rak Talay restaurant was not up to the mark. I think when it comes to Asian cuisine, one should stay loyal to the asian culture. Modifying the dishes to western palates does not do justice to the rich Thai food. Did not dare try other restaurants because we came for Thai food. Went to Same2 but different next door, Ala Carte by Auntie Nang down the road and drove out for some Thai meals. Came to relax and do nothing. And that is what we did. Rented a car to move around the island. Overall, a fantastic place to spend 5 nights. Truly enjoyed and well rested!!!

Unforgettable Beachfront Luxury – Pimalai Resort & Spa We booked directly through the hotel’s website and were delighted to receive an upgrade to a stunning Beachfront Villa with private access to the sand — truly a dream setting. Breakfast was outstanding, easily the best I’ve had at any beach resort in Thailand so far, with a wide selection and impeccable quality. The staff are exceptionally attentive and professional, making every moment feel effortless and special. Everything here feels perfectly in place. The only minor drawback was the upper pool, which can get a bit dirty due to the large tree nearby. Still, this hardly detracts from the overall experience. We will definitely return for another holiday — Pimalai sets the standard for how a luxury resort should be run. Keep up the great work!
