From the moment my family of five walked into the Residence Inn Fort Myers Sanibel, we felt genuinely welcomed. There were two employees working at the front desk, and Tori greeted us with a beautiful, big smile. She warmly invited me over and told me she would be happy to help. It didn’t feel like they were simply trying to complete our check-in and move us along they truly wanted our family to have a wonderful experience. Tori gave all five of us fresh, warm cookies and even offered my two daughters popcorn. While she checked us in, we had a lovely conversation about New York City. She also took the time to tell us about the hotel and the surrounding area. Her kindness and positive attitude made the beginning of our stay feel very special. We stayed in a beautiful two-bedroom suite with two king beds. It was extremely spacious, clean and comfortable, with a full kitchen and a real stove. The beds were very comfortable, and our entire family had plenty of room. The hallways, lobby and entrance were spotless, smelled wonderful and looked almost brand-new. Breakfast was excellent. Two employees were constantly cleaning, refilling the food and making sure everything was well maintained. At around 8:00 in the morning, I sat by the pool and saw employees cleaning the pool area, blowing away leaves and restocking the towels. Everywhere I looked, someone was working to keep the property clean and comfortable. The outdoor barbecue area was another great feature. It had a large, clean, fully functioning Weber grill, and the hotel even provided the barbecue utensils we needed. The location was also very convenient. Publix and 7-Eleven are right nearby, so you have almost everything you might need within easy reach. The beach was only about a 10-minute drive for us. I was honestly amazed by the cleanliness, attention to detail and exceptional customer service. It felt like staying at a Residence Inn with the customer service of a JW Marriott. Our entire family was comfortable, we had absolutely no complaints, and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Tori, and the entire team, for making our visit so memorable!

We had a great stay overall. The hotel is in a great location, close to the beaches, and we felt safe throughout our visit. The entire hotel, including the rooms, smelled fresh, clean, and luxurious, which made a wonderful first impression. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The breakfast was also good, with a nice selection of options. The only issue was that I paid extra to book a room with a balcony, but the room we were given did not have one. I recommend that the hotel pay closer attention to the room types guests reserve and inform them in advance if a different room will be assigned. Aside from that, we had a very enjoyable stay and would consider returning.

Probably one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at when it comes down to room, pricing, staff, and accessibility to things via car. It was like we had our own apartment for a week with the full kitchen (minus an oven) and they provided all the stuff you need to cook with (plateware, pots and pans, utensils). Rooms were quiet, there were kids next door and you could hear them in the hallway but not in the room itself. Free breakfast was decent and ranged what you'd expect from an average hotel breakfast. Pool and hot tub area close at 10 and are nice. there's free towels by the pool and accessible PRIVATE bathrooms by the pool. Hotel gym was nice and had weights. The front desk gives you chairs and umbrellas to take with you out to the beach free of charge which is very nice of them and appreciated. Our towels and bedding were clean and comfortable and changed every other day. The location next to publix, 7-11, gator tales and ales, and coffee shops and perfect 15 minutes to fort myers and sanibel makes this place amazing. Adventure in Paradise is literally up the road so you can do dolphin viewing or island daytrips. Also a big thank you to the staff who were friendly and kept everything so nice for us the whole time.

This was a really great hotel. The room was very spacious and clean as was the bathroom. I took off a star because parking was not free even though it could be. Usually hotels with paid parking have limited parking but that wasn't the case here. Also, the basketball court was disappointing. Furthermore, the breakfast area was too small for a hotel that size. Overall, I'd recommend it for the price and location, but there's room for improvement.

The Good - Beds are fine - Breakfast was good - Room was clean The Bad - There is a side door that is for staff. Your room key won't work to open it. A sign indicating such would be appreciated. - Only one of our room keys worked. - People were smoking right outside the front door, next to a no smoking sign.
