Solo traveler this time, but typically a parent of two (5 yo and 7 yo). Needed a room as I made my way south and the location and Residence inn Brand seemed optimal. Arrived at 6, friendly front desk and easy check in. Studio room was well appointment and clean, bed was VERY comfortable. Breakfast was in a spacious and lovely dinning area and although busy was well supervised by staff. I was impressed at how well maintained it was, with coffee even being refilled table side by Daybel (she was working hard, but still had a smile) The location is phenomenal, a 4 minute drive to Sanibel island and similar shorelines. Price was ~$299 (including taxes) and I’d be delighted to bring my family here given the chance. Parking ample and easy, as well as being steps away from a Publix grocery store. This hotel and location are terrific.

Probably one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at when it comes down to room, pricing, staff, and accessibility to things via car. It was like we had our own apartment for a week with the full kitchen (minus an oven) and they provided all the stuff you need to cook with (plateware, pots and pans, utensils). Rooms were quiet, there were kids next door and you could hear them in the hallway but not in the room itself. Free breakfast was decent and ranged what you'd expect from an average hotel breakfast. Pool and hot tub area close at 10 and are nice. there's free towels by the pool and accessible PRIVATE bathrooms by the pool. Hotel gym was nice and had weights. The front desk gives you chairs and umbrellas to take with you out to the beach free of charge which is very nice of them and appreciated. Our towels and bedding were clean and comfortable and changed every other day. The location next to publix, 7-11, gator tales and ales, and coffee shops and perfect 15 minutes to fort myers and sanibel makes this place amazing. Adventure in Paradise is literally up the road so you can do dolphin viewing or island daytrips. Also a big thank you to the staff who were friendly and kept everything so nice for us the whole time.

The Good - Beds are fine - Breakfast was good - Room was clean The Bad - There is a side door that is for staff. Your room key won't work to open it. A sign indicating such would be appreciated. - Only one of our room keys worked. - People were smoking right outside the front door, next to a no smoking sign.

Hats off to Jocelyn for her outstanding customer service. We had a small problem with noseeums. Jocelyn came up to our room to try and alleviate the situation. She was extremely friendly and pleasant. She cleaned the counters as well as the bathrooms. When we returned we discovered that she had the carpets steam cleaned as well. Thank you Jocelyn for everything you did! No question you must be a valued member of the Marriott staff.

The whole stay was fantastic. From the moment of check in to the check out. Great rooms. We actually had a suite. 2 queen beds, small kitchen, dining and living room, and balcony. Very nice pool area, and great amount of amenities. Gym, business area, basketball. Free full buffet breakfast was great. A lot to choose from. Eggs, Belgium waffles, yogurt, and anything else you can think of. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Will be back.
