Ruined our holiday. This was not a 4 star hotel. It wasn’t really even a hotel it has hostel vibes. Booked at a cost of almost $2000 for three nights with my kid flying in from Europe to have a “home alone” style holiday only to discover we were in what feels like a prison cell. Nothing like the photos on the booking. You’re sleeping in a shower room there’s no “en suite” your toilet is in your bedroom. It was FILTHY we had to buy slippers because the floor was so bad. The bed was broken and tiny, the toiletries had no smell it was like school bathroom soap. Waited 3 hours for a shower cap. They never answer the phone when you ring down so I had to keep leaving my kid upstairs and running the gauntlet of rickety lifts to get things and then wait around for someone to serve you. On the first night the receptionist was making faces with a lobby guy behind me, about me. The hallways smelt like weed and cigarettes, no kettle - who gave this place four stars? It’s far far from it. Also times square it is not. It was the biggest disappointment totally ruined our holiday. I can see the hotel posting replies saying they are planning a big upgrade - so they are then knowingly selling people crappy rooms at 4 star prices and not compensating for the state of the place. Spent an hour in the lobby waiting for the yobot to be fixed to leave our bags, funnily enough they have guys that get paid $3 a bag to take them so it works out well the machine doesn’t work 90% of the time. Breakfast was so bad we walked in and back out again. I tried to upgrade because our room was that bad but they refused to allow that too.

My first time staying at a Yotel and it was very good. The hotel is extremely well-run by an excellent staff - from front desk to security to housekeeping. The hotel staff was very helpful in accommodating some particular and peculiar needs that I had. The room was comfortable, efficient, clean, and (apparently) environmentally friendly. The shower was really nice. I slept very well. The location is excellent and the elevators are the fastest I've ever been on. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience and I will definitely stay here again, and will also look for them in other locations.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights from December 2-4, and it was without doubt my most bizarre and disgusting hotel experience ever - and I travel a lot. Upon arrival I checked under my mattress, and since it was extremely dirty I requested another room. They gave me a room one floor up, which turned out to be blocked after all - something they only discovered after sending me up and down three times since the key card didn’t work (at 11:30 p.m., while I was extremely jet-lagged). The mattress in that room was even more disgusting than in the first one - black (blood?) - so I was relieved not to stay there. They then gave me a third room. Under the mattress in this room, nobody had ever cleaned either, and on top of that the air conditioning was extremely loud and couldn’t be switched off. After an hour of being sent back and forth, I finally returned to my original room and asked them to please clean under the mattress. They apologized and told me they would refund the taxes for one night. Since housekeeping never serviced my room (even though I told reception in the afternoon of the following day and they assured me someone would come at 7 p.m. while I was out), and since I had to stay in a dirty room for both nights, they should have refunded me for two nights. I’m still waiting for the promised refund for the one night, and I doubt it will ever arrive. I paid 500 dollars per night and didn’t even have a clean room or any room service. Nobody at this hotel seems to care. I can only warn anyone considering staying here: don’t do it. The rooms are extremely small, and there also is mold in the shower. Please see my photos and videos for proof.

Great location, nice rooms, very comfy bed! The view from our room was stunning! You have to upgrade to enjoy it. Our favourite Soumia from the Reception was very friendly and helpful. It was nice to talk to Her😊Hope to be back to the same hotel.

I stayed here for one night, the night before the NYC Marathon, it was a very convenient location for my 7:30am ferry out of pier 79. I really just needed a comfortable place to sleep for one night and it served its purpose. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but there was no mini fridge in the room. The bathroom didn’t offer much privacy as there was only a sliding glass door separating the toilet from the rest of the bathroom/ sink, which is not a dealbreaker for me but may be for some. From what I see now prices are more toward the $200/$300 per night mark, but I paid over $700 for one night given it was marathon weekend and halloween weekend. As others have said the room is small, but if you just need somewhere to sleep and aren’t spending much time in your room it doesn’t make too much of a difference

PLEASE WAIT...
