Robertson Quay Hotel - Singapore This hotel showed true Singaporean hospitality. Located walking distance from Boat Quay Market. As well as, few malls nearby. SINGAPOREAN HOSPITALITY: When I walked in, late at night, after my flight arrival. I was greeted by friendly and smiling staff. As I proceeded with check-in process, they asked me, “Would you like to stay in a two single beds room with window view? In the morning we can move you to your reserved room. But, we will upgrade your room with a window, complimentary?” I replied, “Yes that would be ok, thank you so much!” One of the mornings before I was leaving for the day, I asked for extra towels and if they could clean my room. When I came back, it was very clean with extra towels. ROOMS: My first room was on seventh floor. Upon walking in, it is very small, but clean with very minimal storage space. Both beds were decent. Blankets and sheets were ok, not great. The room A/C worked exceptionally well and can be controlled by the entry. Overall, this was still nice to sleep in after a long day and I am grateful to the staff for the upgrade. My second room was on fourth floor and it was also pretty small, but clean. Single double bed with window view, with additional space for your personal belongings. Both rooms come with a small TV and very little desk. If you’re a business traveler and looking to work from hotel rooms, I would not recommend booking here. Both rooms were facing major, high-rise building construction and they started working, loudly, between, 07:00-08:00. But that’s not really hotel’s fault, just wanted to mention this. BATHROOM: Both rooms had extremely small bathrooms. Very little maneuverability. Even if you’re a couple, book a bigger room with a better bathroom or look for other hotels. Shower space was extremely small. The only great thing was that shower pressure offered exceptionally strong flow. Towels were visibly older, thin and you needed several towels to dry your body fully. They only provide you with two bath towels and nothing more. OVERALL: If you’re looking to stay here with a family, double check to make sure they can accommodate you with their space. Both rooms that I stayed in, I would not recommend for families or couples. Solo travelers are ok, but both rooms felt crammed. Very little space to maneuver around. I would still choose to stay here because of the staff and how accommodating they were. Thank you staff for being so accommodating during my stay.

The hotel is well located in an area which can easily get you to touristic spots. Unfortunetly, my room on the ninth floor was not well maintained and the WIFI didn't work. I had to work on my laptop from my own hotspot. Bed was low quality as well. The cleaning ladies are very nice and polite. If you want to check early here, you have to pay money even though they have the rooms ready. This hotel is a bit cheaper than others and there's a reason for that. For budget travelers that don't plan to use the room much.

Warning: if you book this hotel from any 3rd party hotel booking apps please be sure that you are booking with the name as exactly as printed on your ID (physical ID only, digital/soft copy ID will not be entertained) or you will be denied to check in, or they will not refund you unless you make a new booking with their printed rate, which is a lot higher than you were offered on the app. No drinking water to be given (stingiest hotel I have ever stayed in my 45 yo life) staff will tell you to drink from tap. Air conditioning is as cold as a morgue, even with the fan set to the lowest setting, room is pitifully small and you won't get any decent channel on the TV. The only thing that is good is it's location.

The location of the Hotel is at quite good place and the view from window is also quite nice (river view). I Booked Double Deluxe room in hotel from Agoda also requested for Honeymoon arrangements (option was given while booking itself) for which I was ready to pay extra if required but at arrival there was no staff for helping carrying the luggage to room and there were no honeymoon arrangements made by them and after I asked them why there was no arrangement they said that is not in their prospect. There was no water available in hotel, prepare to buy it from nearby 7 eleven store on daily basis. The bathroom was quite small, enough for one person to stand and bath but there were no place for hanging cloth or towel, they also didn’t provide any soap and shampoo only a very small toothpaste and toothbrush was provided by hotel. At night small insect came out crawling at the desk and near window which I didn’t expect. They charged 10% service fee while booking which I don’t think is I will pay for the service I received from Hotel.

The front office staff were very helpful and friendly. They did not hesitate to lend a hand. I am impressed at the affordability and cleanliness of the hotel. I would definitely come back to this hotel again just for the convenient location and the fact that any body of water could make me relaxed. Beautiful view of the waterfront. I loved Clarke quay.
