We were there for 5 nights and can't rave enough about it. The food was above average for an all-inclusive. The drinks were all well made and the staff was very friendly. Rent a car to travel the island, really recommend it. It is quiet on Baby Beach, not like the other side of the island. The room staff was AMAZING.

Secrets is a beautiful place and we had a beautiful room. That ends the good things We were given preferred status and had a butler. Hardly saw him , we were there 4 days We only heard from him after three days. Food is pretty fair at best. Best item is hot dog. Entertainment is poor Best thing at pool was water aerobics. Many non preferred guests came to preferred pools. No one ever checked Even in preferred lounge no one checked. There were many ants near the refrigerator We came into our room and there was no bag, liquor , snacks etc. we had to contact butler twice to get anything. The pools and view were nice. Best thing as far as food is co co cafe Was disappointed with many things at secrets especially since it was so costly

Nothing good to say about this resort. The staff is untrained and unhelpful. You can’t ask them about the food and allergens/ingredients because they don’t know anything and don’t care to find out for you. I’ve been given eggs and dairy at every meal even when ordering things that are marked dairy free or egg free. Meat in a vegan rice dish, pizza being labeled vegan and then coming out covered in cheese, etc. The only decent meals have been from room service, and the staff in that department have been lovely. They were the only department that I feel tried to be helpful. Unless you have booked preferred club or a higher end room, expect to have views of construction sites and dirt. Bartenders can’t make anything creative, no mocktails, nothing that isn’t just alcohol + mixer. They advertise a cocktail of the day but no one knows how to make it. Maybe it’s only people who shell out for preferred club who get to have a good bar experience. The resort itself is blisteringly hot with no shade unless you pay extra for a Bali bed or get up at 6:00 in the morning and claim one of the 5 clamshells. Pools are unheated and very cold. If you dislike birds this resort will be a nightmare for you. Pigeons all over the buffet area…one that was clearly sick/dying kept coming inside the buffet and staff would just shoo it away. Eventually I grabbed it with a towel but the staff didn’t want to help. Water in the shower never gets above lukewarm and the open bathroom concept means you’re freezing if you step outside the shower spray. Overall just not a good experience and a huge disappointment. Maybe if you just want to drink well quality liquor and roast in the sun it’s fine, but if you have any expectations of customer service or a classy vacation, forget it.
Traveler Travels
Great rooms, excellent food, drinks were good not amazing but good for a resort. Excellent staff here William, Jesus, Peter Rosemary and Betty were phenomenal to name a few. Great relaxing vibes and for those who want to party they have a pool for you. The beach gets crowded but if you make it earlier than anyone you can see turtles and huge fish 10/10. We did it at 7 am it was worth it. The beach to ourselves and had nice turtle videos. The hotel is secluded and on the other side of the island where all the businesses is which can be a good or bad thing depending on what you want. If you want to relax, unwind with a little fun book it. Shows were cool too.

Perfect for a birthday getaway without the kids! Quiet side of the island which was what we needed. We have Globalist status so we received Preferred Club benefits with the separate restaurant and pool area/bar. Luis was top notch and always attentive. Very clean property/rooms and beach was a few mins walk off the property. Food was pretty good and drinks were delicious. I would recommend this adults only resort for a romantic getaway!
