My wife and I stayed at this hotel to celebrate her birthday. The hotel surprised us with a thoughtful birthday setup in our room, which made our stay even more special. Every staff member we met was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The valet parking and bell staff were especially outstanding. They made us feel truly welcome and at home, and their attentive service deserves special recognition. We also enjoyed the food and the hotel's amenities. One of the highlights of our stay was the sound bath healing session offered by the hotel. It was incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. We enjoyed it so much that we attended two morning sessions during our stay. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to relax or to experience a sound bath for the first time.

Had a great time here for my birthday trip. Rooms were incredibly spacious. From breakfast to lunch all the way to dinner the food was very flavorful & tasty! You definitely will not starve here from bad tasting food! The drinks were good as well. Since you are pretty far from everything, they had plenty of entertainment & things to do at the resort. I would say if you want to be in the “mix” this is not the resort for you… unless you dont mind renting a car & driving to your excursions or into the city. The excursions operators do not pick up at secrets due to its location. If you dont mind paying for a car (which they do have a rental company on site) then this resort is for you! Parking your rental is free bu the way. Overall if you want to relax and be away from the chaos, this resort is for you!

I chose Secrets Baby Beach to celebrate my partner’s birthday, and overall, it was an incredible experience that delivered luxury, warmth, and unforgettable memories. From the moment we arrived, we felt celebrated and truly cared for. Our butler, Jack, was nothing short of phenomenal, an absolute master of his craft. He anticipated our needs before we even voiced them and went out of his way to make my partner’s birthday feel extraordinary. From thoughtful surprises to seamless planning, Jack transformed our stay into a perfectly curated celebration. His level of service alone set the tone for the entire trip. The entertainment staff added nonstop joy to our experience, especially Lisa, who truly made our trip. Her energy, personality, and genuine enthusiasm were contagious. She made every activity memorable and brought so much life and laughter to our celebration. Lisa has a rare gift of making guests feel seen, included, and special. Dining across the resort was exceptional, with the staff at Oceana standing out for their attentive service. Every meal felt like an experience, and the food across all restaurants was top-tier, beautifully presented, expertly prepared, and consistently delicious. The only reason this experience wasn’t a perfect five out of five was the ocean-view side, which also has views of the construction of new Baby Beach hotels of Dreams or Breathless, which was shared with us when we did the Hyatt Unlimited presentation. I truly wish I had known this in advance, as the view was not much to look at and definitely took away from the ambiance we expected. In hindsight, we would have chosen the poolside view, which would have been far more enjoyable during this time. That said, Secrets Baby Beach still delivered an unforgettable birthday celebration filled with incredible service and lasting memories. With a little more transparency around construction views, this resort would be absolutely flawless.

​While the overall facility and daily service staff at Secrets Baby Beach are lovely. Special shout out to wonderful dinning and entertainment staff. But our experience with the Concierge and Front Desk team was completely mismanaged, unprofessional, and unsafe. ​We scheduled an official resort taxi for 10:45 AM. Due to complete disorganization at the desk, our driver was mistakenly given away to someone else, leaving us waiting for over half an hour past our scheduled time. When we questioned the concierge staff—specifically Rainne and Recheilla—they were dismissive, unapologetic, and rudely asked if we wanted to "just cancel" our plans instead of fixing their mistake. ​To make matters worse, the replacement taxi dispatched by the resort charged us $20 and dropped us off on a deserted street past the red-light district far away from the main promenade, repeatedly claiming he was "just trying to help." Dropping off guests in an unfamiliar, unsafe area is a major security concern. ​Additionally, do not count on the advertised "$200 in resort coupons" as real value. It is purely a marketing gimmick wrapped in fine print. A large portion of the coupons are strictly for expensive bottles of wine. For guests who do not drink alcohol, the resort refuses to show any flexibility or swap them for non-alcoholic options, standard dining, or general room credits. ​Secrets needs to immediately retrain Rainne and Recheilla on basic customer service, stop sending guests off with unreliable taxi drivers, and rethink their rigid coupon structure. Management needs to address these severe service gaps right away.

Secrets Baby Beach Aruba Detailed Review The good and the bad. Let me start by saying, we LOVE Aruba. This was my 4th trip to Aruba. We are also HUGE fans of Secrets Resorts. This was the 6th time I stayed at a Secrets Resort. The resort is new and beautiful. It small and quant. The check-in process needs some adjusting. Our reservation was made on the Hyatt app & indicated a 3pm check-in. We arrived at the hotel at 2pm, went to lunch and returned to the front desk at 3pm to check in. We were told check-in was between 3 and 4 pm. We did not get our room key till 3:40pm. Not a huge issue, but a flaw and not great start to our experience. The staff at the resort was spectacular. The food was wonderful. The entertainment was excellent. They went ALL out to celebrate the 4th of July. We were very impressed. The pools had abundance of chairs and plenty of towels. However, poolside service was non existent and needs addressing. Numerous surfaces around the hotel are extremely SLIPPERY when wet. With numerous pools, wet is inevitable. I slipped and fell going down the giant stairs. Thankfully I was not injured. We were also told by other guests of slipping and falling incidents. The rooms were big, spacious and very well decorated. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The rain head shower had great water pressure and temperature variance One major issue with the rooms was that you could not adjust the room temperature below 21 Celsius (69.8 F). However the room never got that cool, the room temperature stayed at 22 Celsius (71.6 F). Comfortable but I prefer it cooler at night when I sleep. One of the reasons we LOVE the Secrets brand is because of the luxury, adults only and the amazing beaches. All of which are super important to us and is HUGE reason we continually choose Secrets Resorts. We knew the beach at the resort was a public beach. Reviews indicated that beach was so incredible, we felt it could overcome the fact it was a public beach. Wow nothing was farther from the truth. Kids, kids and more kids. Not the quiet, adults only luxury beach we had enjoyed at all the other Secrets resorts. Since there is a public restaurant on the beach, we saw a massive cockroach running on the beach. Disgusting, and where there is one roach in plain sight there are thousands more hiding….watch your beach bags because you don’t want to bring those back to your room!!! The water at the beach was pristine, clear blue and placid. The snorkeling at the beach was incredible, but sand was not a white powered soft sand, but a hard compacted course sand. Secrets did a nice job having a concierge on the beach which offered nice lounge chairs, Tommy Bahama beach chairs, cabanas and cold beers, water and soda. But FAR from the luxury service you come to expect from a beach experience at a Secrets resort. The verdict: 8 out of 10. We would come back to Secrets Baby Beach Aruba.
