I’ve just returned from a two-week stay at this hotel in Benidorm and overall had a really positive experience. The receptionists, cleaners, and bar staff were especially great — always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. While not every single staff interaction stood out, the majority of the team really did make a positive impression and added to the stay. The food was good overall. There was always a decent variety and something for everyone, so you definitely wouldn’t go hungry. We did choose to eat out a few times just for a change of scenery, but the hotel food itself was perfectly fine and reliable. The entertainment was excellent both during the day and at night, with plenty going on to keep people entertained. Even though I didn’t have kids with me, the children’s entertainment in particular looked phenomenal and seemed to be a real highlight for families. One small thing to mention is that the pool bar wasn’t included in the all-inclusive package, which was a little disappointing. Also, although check-in is clearly stated as 4pm, it would be great if there was an option for earlier check-in or a bit of flexibility, as arriving earlier in the day can mean quite a wait. There is somewhere to store your luggage, which is helpful, but it’s just something worth being aware of. Overall, I’d say this is a great hotel with a welcoming atmosphere, and I’d definitely consider staying here again.

Faboulous experience, we are just home from a week in the hotel. Kids and adult entertainment day and night excellent. Entertainment staff go over and under to get to know the residents during their stay. Each day making it their buisness to inform on the activities on each day,Remembering names of my 4 girls and that was a lovely touch. "Lucas" was notably excellet, his energy towards his job was so admirable, but all entertainment staff clearly loved their jobs as their energy was so clear towards getting to know residents and ensuring all around them were informed and entertained. Rooms cleaned every day to a high standard. We went half board. . Variety of food excellent. Would suit any pallet each meal as so many options . I would highly recommond this hotel. Walking distance to beach , shops, socially busy near the "strip" but we avoided the social areas and stayed around the quieter areas with shops/markets. Highly recommoned

I honestly won’t be returning to Sol Pelícanos Ocas. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing from start to finish. The majority of the staff came across as rude and unwelcoming, which really affected our stay. The floor in our room was dirty when we arrived, and although the room was serviced, it didn’t feel as clean as it should have. The food was also very poor, with limited choice and quality that didn’t meet our expectations. That said, there were a couple of positives. The pool area is excellent and is definitely the hotel’s biggest selling point. The cleaning staff were also lovely, friendly, and hardworking throughout our stay. I’d also like to mention the wonderful lady who checked us in at reception—she was warm, welcoming, and made a great first impression, which unfortunately wasn’t matched by the rest of our experience. Overall, I left feeling disappointed. Based on this visit, I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend the hotel unless significant improvements are made to the customer service, cleanliness, and food quality.

Decent hotel with a few need for improvements. Firstly, the bar staff are rude and patronising. My mum had a problem on the first day with them. 2 days later I went to the bar (the time before I went, I never received my token back; I also made it clear to the bar staff when I first bought my drink I’m not sure how the process of the tokens work, so he was fully aware what he was doing) when I brang my cup back on the time before, I never reached my token back... The bar staff asked for my token I explained that i didn’t receive one and he was rather arrogant and said “well it’s €1 extra if you don’t have your token, you should have bring you cup back” being sarky. I explained that I did bring my cup back, and didn’t receive my token, yet he still charged me. Secondly, the cleaners are lovely, very polite and friendly. However, the cleanliness of the room wasn’t great after cleaning had been finished. There was crumbs left all over the balcony floor, bed sheets with stains were changed (but unfortunately not the pillows, they just flipped them around), the mirror accidentally had tanning lotion sprayed onto the mirror and that wasn’t cleaned too. You are given very minimal toiletries at this hotel, which is not expected upon arrival, just for those looking to stay, to make sure you have toiletries. (Shower gel & shampoo is included) You have to pay a deposit to use the kettle, €27 (we stayed for 3 nights) when my mum went to the reception to return the kettle at the end of our stay they only gave her €20 back as they charged her for sachets of coffee and sugar (which is normally complimentary at any standard hotel). Also note, if you want additional water, you will be charged. If you want to smoke, you have to go to the other end of the pool area in a designated section. However vaping is fine (I’m a vaper) Overall, the rooms are pretty decent, the pool area is lovely, breakfast has a good selection. Receptionists and cleaners are friendly.

the rooms are amazing here great space and cleaned thoroughly everyday.the service from all staff is also excellent i highly recommend. the location is also great for young adults 18-22 as it’s right on the strip. the entertainment staff are amazing aswell in particular anna, she is lovely always enhancing everyone’s experience here and involving everyone. another person who i had a great experience with was victoria she was lovely aswell. i would recommend this place to absoloutely anyone, thank you sol policanos
