We had a really lovely stay at this hotel. Everything was well taken care of, and we had everything we needed during our stay, including a supermarket on-site and a medicine dispenser in case of an emergency. The staff were also very welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. We felt very well looked after from the moment we arrived, and we especially appreciated the complimentary breakfast and dinner during our entire stay. A special mention to Vanessa at the reception, who was always so lovely, welcoming, and pleasant with us. She definitely made our experience even more enjoyable. The only small downside is that the rooms are on the smaller side, but it didn’t take away from our overall experience. Other than that, everything was great, and we really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to come back!

Overall, we had a very good stay at Sol Puerto Marina. The rooms are spacious, modern, and comfortable, and the sea view is a fantastic added bonus. The location is excellent—just a few meters from the beach—and the promenade right outside is lively, pleasant, and highly family-friendly, especially in the evening. The food is generally of good quality. However, the international buffet can start to feel a bit repetitive after a few days. For anyone booking half-board, it is also worth noting that drinks are not included and must be paid for separately. While being so close to the beach is a luxury, the cost of sun loungers (€9 per lounger) can add up quickly and felt quite expensive for a family. Similarly, the private hotel parking is very convenient, though the €22 daily fee is on the higher side. Additionally, there is no bus stop right outside the entrance, so you should expect about a 10-minute walk to catch public transport. I do want to mention one unpleasant incident during breakfast regarding the smoking and non-smoking sections of the terrace. The issue was not the policy itself, which I respected immediately, but rather the tactless manner in which it was communicated by the staff member. That being said, I would especially like to highlight the professionalism and responsiveness of the Guest Experience team. They took the matter very seriously, listened carefully, explained the hotel's policy clearly, and followed up quickly and professionally. Their excellent handling of the situation completely turned things around and restored a positive impression of the hotel. With a few minor adjustments to the pricing of extras and a bit more variety at the buffet, it could easily earn a 5-star rating.

We were there in September 25, and had re-booked before we even left to go home. It was myself and my husband that went for his 40th and we got room upgrade and a bottle of bubbles to celebrate the big birthday which was a lovely touch. We are book in September this year to celebrate my own 40th but bringing the kids this time. Can't wait to shown them your beautiful hotel.

Just arrived to the hotel the staff at reception were amazing. As I case was then by mistake at the airport they endeavoured to help me contact Art Lingus to try and locate case. This young lady Sheyla made give calls to try and locate missing case and was extremely helpful. You are very lucky to have such a caring, efficient lady in your staff doing it all with a lovely smile. Please pass on my gratitude to her. Ann O Keeffe

Unfortunately our stay was not great. Actually very poor. On our arrival day we have changed 4 rooms. We booked a studio with kitchenette. The room was quite different from pictures on booking.com. Furniture were new, but the rest of the room like walls, floor, bathroom are really outdated. We were fine with that, the problem was the cleanliness of the room. Hair everywhere, crumbs and toenails. We complained, got a second room which was slightly better ( no toenails) but still dirty, hairs everywhere. We got upgraded in a suite I believe is called. Which was nice but AC was not working, Ismael the maintenance man was very nice and friendly and tried to fix but didn’t manage. So moved into another room where the AC still didn’t fully work, would go on and off on its own. We were offered a lunch on the hotel as compensation but food quality is pretty low. Breakfasts too, looks good because of variety and presentation but that is it. The only reason I’m not giving less rating is because the reception team and franco were nice and understanding about our issues during our stay. So please higher management that is going to review this feedback keep this in mind.
