The hotel is safe, clean and beautifully decorated. The lobby and lounge area was very enjoyable. Our room was fine as well, just the walls let a lot of sound through. The surrounding area/neighborhoods did not feel so safe at night time, but the hotel itself was safe. It is close to public transport and about a 30 minute drive from the airport. There was a water refill station on the 5th floor which I highly appreciated. Would definitely stay again.

Thank you to Charles for providing amazing customer service! We checked in and he was instantly welcoming and friendly. He was very easy to talk to and accommodated a slightly early check in. He was is a reason we will be returning to this hotel. He was welcoming to our daughter too and offered a popcorn treat and 2 drink coupons at the bar for us adults. He even offered recommendations around the local area. The property was clean and inviting and the room was clean and worth to revisit. The room was large for a San Francisco hotel room! We will definitely stay here again on our next visit!

Stayed at the Marker hotel for my first trip to California/SF. I can honestly say the stay was hassle free. Room was a standard queen facing center building. Overall it was clean, my only notation would be some of the surfaces were dusty (headboard and vent in bathroom) but nothing that I would find disgusting. Bed was decent nothing to rave on but comfortable enough. Staff Overall friendly and the hallway was always quiet and uneventful. Would stay here again and recommend giving them a shot.

I would like to give a special thank you to Dhali and Charles for their incredible customer service. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The hotel room was superb, and the entire staff was absolutely outstanding—friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. We especially appreciated the excellent food and restaurant recommendations, which made our visit even more enjoyable. Dhali, Charles, and the rest of the team made our stay an amazing experience. We had the delight of staying 2 nights at the Marker before our Alaskan cruise started. This hotel is amazing, it’s quirky and out of the box. There are plenty of public lounge areas, some with fireplaces, and a great dining room. We are Australian’s, The Marker served me the best espressos I’ve had in a America ever (this is my 5th trip). We felt at home at The Marker, so much so, we cancelled our 2-night reservation at another hotel at the end of our cruise, and rebooked another two nights at The Marker. A few shout outs – Brian (the Managing Director) was engaging to talk with, in the dining room Tatiana, Titiana and a bar staff man (Vidal, who funnily called Australians and the British cousins). We arrived late, after 10pm, and the lady on the front desk, with a welcoming smile, was a delight, especially after a horror taxi ride from SFO (no Waymo’s at SFO). A HUGE thanks to you all. See you in early July, at the end of our cruise.
