We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Zel Costa Brava. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the stunning location, surrounded by nature and overlooking the crystal-clear Mediterranean Sea. The rooms are spacious, modern, spotless, and extremely comfortable. Every area of the resort is impeccably maintained, reflecting the high standards of the hotel. The staff were outstanding throughout our stay,friendly, welcoming, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. The facilities are excellent. We especially enjoyed the beautiful swimming pool, the well-equipped gym, and the wide range of activities available throughout the day. A special mention goes to how genuinely dog-friendly the resort is, making it a perfect destination for guests travelling with their pets. Breakfast offered a great selection of fresh, high-quality options, while dinner was enjoyable with something for everyone, although a little more variety would make it even better. Overall, Zel Costa Brava exceeded our expectations. It offers the perfect combination of relaxation, comfort, excellent service, and breathtaking surroundings. We highly recommend it to couples, families, and pet owners, and we would definitely love to come back. Thank you

Both the hotel and natural surroundings are beautiful but do cost in the expensive add ons before you book. Parking at the front is €30 per day, a lounger on the beach is another €30 per day, meaning a week of this will quickly add + €400 to your bill. I wish these resort type places were more transparent, or just charge the correct amount in the first place. We discovered today that the sports facilities such as mini golf and tennis close at 7pm! During the peak of European summer, we have wonderful long summer evenings when it’s more cool to enjoy these activities. Closing so early seems very strange to me. Service - this is mixed at best. Most of the staff are more concerned with flashing off their midriff, but actually getting served a drink in the restaurant, bar or lobby is a battle of patience. I’m sat here now, watching frustrated guests approach the bar directly, hr that doesn’t wash here. Next annoying thing - locals accessing the beach via the resort, using the lift and even the pool (22/7/26). Staff are doing nothing to stop this

We’ve had our eye on this hotel since a year and we were looking for the right time to visit. It met all our expectations and more. What stood out the most was their hospitality. There was never an unpleasant encounter and every staff member was super attentive and sweet. We had Laura from the experience team to guide us throughout the trip. She was super nice and helpful. All the boys who drove the golf cart like Alberto and Miguel, amongst others were always on time to pick and drop us from our room to the main building and were extremely courteous. Staff at the sports club like Ifrem, Olga and Sonia were amazing too. I tried the Nordic walk and yoga (many such activities are included in the stay) with them and was super impressed by their assistance and professionalism. We stayed for 4 nights with half board and it was totally worth the time and money. Food was excellent with lots of variety. The pool and beach was well maintained and the rooms were cleaned every day. Cafe finca was really nice for coffee every day as well. The staff at el mercat (the buffet restaurant) were amazing! Super helpful, always smiling and extremely efficient at cleaning up tables and responding to our requests. The desserts at el mercat deserve a special mention. Excellent through and through. Five stars all the way for every single person who works at the hotel really, including the people at Parda (restaurant by the sea). However the food at Parda was below par and expensive. A few recommendations for improvement would be to have a babysitting service, open up the kids club to toddlers under 5 too and apparently they had a mini children’s disco that starts at 9pm! Which is a really late for kids. The funicular didn’t work twice which made me anxious while using it so that should be sorted. There was zero email communication with the hotel prior to check in which is quite strange. I was told about an online check via a link that would be emailed to me but I never received it and upon calling the hotel, I was told there would be just a regular check in by the staff but in reality we had to spend time adding our details online at the hotel which added time to the check in process. Also the spa price has increased from 25-30 euros recently with a 15 euro price for children and u can only spend 2 hours there. We thought about trying it but found it quite expensive for the whole family. But really these things are nothing compared to the amazing time we had. Enjoyed every second and would love to be back again.

Reached here via a sail trip that drops you off at the resort. Mind you if you are not staying in the resort you are just accessible to the restaurant and the little corner of the beach. We did try food here and it was not disappointing at all. Moreover the vibes are beautiful because the view is extraordinary. Was a little difficult to order though due to language barrier but everything was fine. Eventually we enjoyed every bit of it. They were very hospitable. You can stay as long as you want at the beach and the little ship comes every 10 minutes whenever you feel like going back.

I have been a platinum member at Melia since 2008 and have visited many 5-star hotels. but this 4 star hotel has 5 star service! I can't even praise anyone separately because the entire staff is extraordinary. Very smiling, very friendly, very ready to help you with anything you need. The hotel is a little secret in Costa Brava. A little paradise. The rooms have a fairytale sea view. only 5 minutes by car in Tossa de Mar you will find a paradise of Spanish cuisine. I will definitely come back. Gracias por todo!!!
