I'm providing this review April 2026. So here goes, rooms are a little tired but adequate, room service very good, cleaned daily, change of towels. Staff we're very helpful, and friendly. Hotel was quiet, free shuttle from Hotel to Resort and Spa Hotel and return, which goes every hour, however you can walk between the hotels, takes approx 15 minutes. We dined at both hotels, Hotel was buffet, Resort and Spa Al-cart which we preffered for our evening meal. Food and service very good. We went on a morning rainforest and waterfall tour, good price and easy to book through hotel. We found the winding roads and hills a little nauseous in travelling in a safari vehicle. Rodney bay area seems good for a walk around, local Massey store close to hotel useful. Overall we enjoyed the holiday, areas which we thought could be improved, entertainment! very little to do, evenings no music at the hotel, not even some st lucia country music, had to frequently visit the Resort and Spa hotel for this, as carribean goes, off to bed early for early start. 3 star out of 5*s.

So my wife and I booked a room at the Bay Gardens Hotel with our two young sons, a five-year-old and a three-year-old, and I think they had a wonderful time. The boys especially had a wonderful time. They were running up and down. We were trying to keep them out of trouble but the Bay Gardens staff never bothered them about anything and they were quite happy that the boys were having fun. It was a really good atmosphere. We felt welcome. The staff were excellent. I wish I could give everyone tips. Honestly it was amazing. The morning buffet breakfast was really good. Every morning it was great and I sensed that the staff helped each other out. I can't say this enough because usually every workplace has conflicts and it happens. For the most part what I observed at the Bay Gardens Hotel was a very helpful environment among the staff and it was really good to see. After being away from the country for more than 20 years, it was a really good introduction coming into Bay Gardens and being in the Rodney Bay area. The concierge service and the front desk were amazing. They provided help and they were just very active and involved in our stay. One of the things that was, I would say, the only issue that we kind of had was the fact that we kept being bitten at night. I think for me it started on my second night but for my wife it started almost immediately. We searched the room and the beds for bed bugs but we did not find any bedbugs. I only saw one mosquito in the room whereas my wife saw one so I don't know if we kept seeing the same mosquito. My goodness I forgot how hard mosquitoes could bite but I kept being bitten like every minute so it was really really bad. There were nights I couldn't sleep. My son also got bitten and the itching after was just really really tough for about a week or so. The itching continued and my feet and my legs just were not feeling good the whole trip. Other than that I would say the trip was 4/5 just because of the biting on the bed.

Very beautiful hotel! I’ve stayed at the Inn, the Hotel, and the Resort, and each one offers a different experience. The Inn is intimate and quiet—perfect if you’re looking to relax. The Hotel is more lively and fun, with karaoke nights, three pool options, a gym, and even laundry facilities. The location is very central—everything is within a 3–5 minute walk, including KFC, Subway, shops, and the mall. There’s also a convenient shuttle that runs between all three properties. The Resort provides a true getaway experience, with a beautiful pool, jacuzzi, and amazing views from the upstairs rooms. Guests at all three properties have access to the water park and non-motorized water sports, which is a great bonus. The food options are extensive and offer a lovely Caribbean flair. Overall, it’s always a wonderful experience. I’ve been visiting every April for the past five years, and I’ll definitely be back again next year. It truly feels like a home away from home—with an added touch of fun!

A lovely hotel overall - - clean, welcoming, and made even better by the included breakfast. However, the laundry facility is a notable weak point. The machines are extremely outdated, poorly functioning, and not well maintained, which makes doing laundry on-site practically impossible. For guests staying longer than a week, I'd recommend seeking out one of the affordable independent laundromats in the surrounding area instead. Hopefully management will consider updating the equipment soon.

My family and i really enjoyed our stay at the bay gardens hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff, the breakfast was amazing as well as dinner. Lovely rooms and the service good. The atmosphere at the hotel was lovely. The bay gardens taxi service outside great. Great location as well. Defintely would come back and also recommend to family and friends Leslie
