Would absolutely stay here again. This is truly a beautiful hotel. It has classic architectural features, but everything has been fully renovated and feels very modern. The beds were extremely comfortable, and we had a room with a view, which was absolutely worth it. The room itself was a great size as well. One of the nicest parts of the hotel is the lobby bar, which also serves excellent food and has fantastic bartenders — especially Tony! The front desk staff was always helpful and welcoming. The location is another major highlight. It’s close to great shopping, very central to public transportation, and perfectly situated for hopping in a cab and being almost anywhere within ten minutes. There’s also a fabulous bar on the penthouse level with sweeping city views that is incredibly chic. Staying here over New Year’s Eve was a delight — the hotel was lively, full of energy, and such a fun place to be. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and would gladly return.

The building has great location and beautiful architectural character, looks amazing. The staff is always friendly and helpful. When I had issues with my room, they immediately moved me to another one. Overall, it’s a great place to stay, but there are a few downsides. The room windows don’t provide good soundproofing, so street noise comes in easily, especially on lower floors. There are also constant static or machine-like background noises. I wouldn’t recommend it for someone who is very sensitive to small noises or needs absolute silence.

I had a terrific stay at the Beacon Grand Hotel. I travel to SF frequently for work and have tried a few hotels. This is now my preferred. Obviously, the hotel is beautiful and conveniently located, but what really makes it special is the staff. All are truly top tier, attentive, and kind. A special thank you to Kahn, who was incredibly welcoming and helpful, and Alejandro who made adjusting my reservation seamless. The entire team helped make this work trip much more pleasant. Thank you for accommodating me and for the lovely experience.

I had a wonderful business stay at the Beacon Grand. The hotel has been beautifully renovated to offer modern amenities in a historic building, preserving all the character of the architecture. My room (1037) was large and very well appointed. The king size bed was ultra comfy, the bathroom large and perfectly clean. The wifi is fast. Communal areas including the bar are beautiful and comfortable. Staff is discreet and efficient. Excellent value for money. I would stay again and highly recommend this hotel.

I will tell you more later, since we just got in, but I love old architecture. And this building has some character to it. We loved our visit there. The location was great. Near everything. Actually pretty quiet during the nights. We had enough fun to know that we'll be back. One thing I want to talk about is your doorman. They don't seem that friendly or willing to give any kinda recommendations to places to go. Now we stay in a lot of hotels and I don't think that I/we ever had a problem with the doorman. Please get that fixed. It would make a huge difference with the way your customers feel.
