Would absolutely stay here again. This is truly a beautiful hotel. It has classic architectural features, but everything has been fully renovated and feels very modern. The beds were extremely comfortable, and we had a room with a view, which was absolutely worth it. The room itself was a great size as well. One of the nicest parts of the hotel is the lobby bar, which also serves excellent food and has fantastic bartenders — especially Tony! The front desk staff was always helpful and welcoming. The location is another major highlight. It’s close to great shopping, very central to public transportation, and perfectly situated for hopping in a cab and being almost anywhere within ten minutes. There’s also a fabulous bar on the penthouse level with sweeping city views that is incredibly chic. Staying here over New Year’s Eve was a delight — the hotel was lively, full of energy, and such a fun place to be. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and would gladly return.

New Year’s Eve at the Beacon Gran and it was a fabulous stay. Really had a cute little room, a very comfortable bed and a view of the sf streets below. The hotel is so gorgeous and if you don’t wanna stay, I highly recommend you go to the bar and get a drink with Casey and Hermilo who made me the best pisco sours and had fun with us all night. They also had a beautiful pianist! I also appreciated the hotel staff. We forgot some things in our vehicle and they brought them up to our room helped us out with other things throughout our stay

I had a wonderful business stay at the Beacon Grand. The hotel has been beautifully renovated to offer modern amenities in a historic building, preserving all the character of the architecture. My room (1037) was large and very well appointed. The king size bed was ultra comfy, the bathroom large and perfectly clean. The wifi is fast. Communal areas including the bar are beautiful and comfortable. Staff is discreet and efficient. Excellent value for money. I would stay again and highly recommend this hotel.

We have recrntly returned from a family holiday in the USA, San Francisco was our first stop and we had choose The Beacon Grand for its elegance and stylish vintage feel. We are a family of 4 and stayed three nights. The staff were very pleasent and welcoming from the doorman to maintenace staff. This hotel is stunning, although on the older side and was in the process of getting a makeover on the exterior (scaffolding). Rooms have been renovated more modern but still with old fashion glam. Beds super comfy, as we were travelling for a while we all had a 5 suitcases and found the room to be a little tight but managed for the 3 nights. Our room did have a musty old smell when we first arrived but the aircon wasnt working and we have someone come promptly to fix it and got the air moving. Our window also would not stay opened but we managed to place something to help ventilate the room would have been 5 stars otherwise. We found the location to be great, close to Union Square, stores, food and transport. Was a great hotel to begin our USA trip.

A lovely stay at Beacon Grand!! The room was so spacious with an amazing view and walk in closet. The bathroom toiletries were so nice and smelled great. Service was excellent and we were always greeted at the door. They have an excellent gym too!! It’s a classic old hotel and it’s stunning. So grand indeed!
