If you choose the Coral Strand Smart Choice half board option, the programme consists of breakfast (served in the Island Trader restaurant, buffet style) and dinner (served in a range of restaurants). Soft drinks, beer, water and wine are usually offered during dinner service.

We went for our honeymoon, and I have to say its the perfect place to be staying for couples for many reasons! The staff are super friendly and helpful. Tarrik was so nice, he gave us such a nice experience. The staff at the restaurant were also wonderful and everyone was so helpful and informative. The location is fantastic. You literally walk onto the beach, there are multiple restaurants and a bar, swimming pool and multiple sun beds. The hotel is huge with multple rooms. We had a great room. the rooms are all well equipped, AC, fully functioning, very clean. Room service also fantastic! Location is fantastic, the local beach is great, the locals are friendly. 100% recommend. The sunset is amazing, the water is crystal clear and you can snorkel there.

We visited Mahek Restaurant, and it was the best Indian food we’ve ever had! The food was absolutely delicious, and every dish arrived on time and was cooked to perfection. A special thanks to Sandesh, who was an amazing host. He made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The entire team greeted us with warm smiles and were incredibly kind, polite, and friendly. They truly have one of the best service teams we’ve experienced. Outstanding food, exceptional hospitality, and flawless service. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend Mahek Restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine.

We had such an amazing stay at this property. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff was welcoming, professional, and quick to accommodate an early check-in. The room itself was spotless, spacious, and had a remarkably comfortable bed. The location with ocean views and access to the stunning beach was unmatched. It’s also walking distance to other cafes/restaurants. All the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Special shoutout to Shivan in guest relations who really went above and beyond to make our stay special

We had a wonderful stay at Coral Strand Hotel. It just underwent major renovations in 2025/2026 and the rooms are so chic and modern! Located directly at the beach including a pool area. Very clean, great service (we especially loved Arul who served the best coffee and was always so friendly and courteous) and overall a great experience. Thank you!

I don’t even know where to start with this beautiful hotel and the fabulous team there. From the moment we entered the hotel for check-in, everyone welcomed us warmly. Even though they were busy, they still made sure to smile and make us feel special. The room was very clean and beautiful as well. The lobby and pool area could use some renovation as they look a bit old, but honestly the kindness of the team made a huge difference to our experience. The first 2 days, the food was not the best, but on the 3rd day everything changed and the food became amazing. When we asked, they told us Chef Radwan was behind it, so special thanks to him for the beautiful food. After the team knew that we were a bit upset about the food during the first days, they invited us for a special dinner, and Chef Radwan together with Sakura, Shihan, and Hemantha made our experience truly memorable. Everyone there was so kind, friendly, and caring. Thank you again to the whole management and team for taking such good care of us.
