We arrived at Crystal Cove the day after they reopened. It was our third visit so knew how it looked and operated before and were keen to see the changes. Crystal Cove is a relaxed laid back small resort – it's not a big bustling full on resort, but that’s exactly what we like about it. Don’t go here expecting full on entertainment and loads of activities. That’s really the charm of the place. The renovations have been completed and the rooms, restaurant and public areas look really nice and fresh. The bathrooms have all been completely modernised. We had some very small issues with the room but once we notified the reception staff they were sorted out really quickly. You could tell that they had only just reopened and the staff were finding their feet, working out processes and procedures, but it didn't cause us any issues. As the week went on, new improvements were rolling out, for example an activity sheet for the day, labels for the food at the buffet, tables for the High Tide (Drifters) bar area. New sunbeds are very comfortable and plentiful. The watersports (SUP, kayak, waterskiing, hobie cats, donuts, snorkelling) are up and running and there are external guys on the beach offering jetski hire and turtle trips (at a cost). Food was excellent although slightly limited choices, particularly for dinner. We were told that the hotel was only 40% full for the week we were there so I guess that wasn’t a surprise. I imagine this offering will expand over the next few weeks. There was always something to eat and the quality was really good. Breakfast and lunch were buffet, dinners mostly a la carte but there was one buffet. We missed the BBQ but I think it was because they didn't have the tables ready at that point, it looked like those might be running again soon. Staff are super friendly. They come to the pool and beach areas semi regularly to offer from a tray of drinks and take orders if you want something. There wasn’t a cocktail menu at the bar when we were there which was a little disappointing but the staff would make whatever drink you asked for. If you want a relaxing chilled week then I definitely recommend this place. I’m sure we’ll be back again.

We went here four years ago on our honeymoon. It was a bit more rundown as a Hotel but it was way more friendly, the Service was better and the food was exceptional & staff only too happy to help. This time round the staff other than a few exceptions were lazy & everything seemed too much trouble and the food was dreadful.such a shame as the hotel has so much potential & beautiful surroundings.

This location has the worst service from there workers, no customer service skills at all. Was there yesterday for a tour from Waves Resort to Crystal Cove and no one served us while sitting by the pool we had to keep on asking for someone to bring us drinks. There faces where filled with attitude and anger. Waves is 100% better then Crystal Cove unless you enjoy seeing grumpy employees who can't take care of there guest.

I have some mixed reviews about this hotel. There is some good and bad. Firstly, the hotel has recently been updated, very clean and nice. Rooms are gorgeous, but as a resort, they still have to figure stuff out. FOOD: Breakfast is fine. Limited, but tasty and fine. Omlete and egg station. Dont expect anything fancy. Lunch by the pool? 45 min to 1:15 hour wait time unless you go to the buffet. Dinner? If its at the buffet, FORGET IT. Awful. My neighbor Chuck cooks better burgers. You will watch guests open the food containers and shake their heads, the standard is SO LOW. Most guests leave the ALL INCLUSIVE property to have dinner elsewhere. The only good dinner food on resort is the Hightides Al LA Carte restaurant, WHICH CLOSES RANDOMLY, AND EVEN ON SPECIFIED DINNER NIGHTS, even the bar staff there doesnt know why? Very unorganized here. Generally upsetting, everyone even staff is guessing. CHECK IN- My group of 6 was checking in and standing at the desk for 75 minutes. No joke. 75 straight minutes. Agent unfortunately was dealing with some computer issues, and then othwr problems, but regardless we were there for ages checking in... which created more problems fown the line, which were eventually figured out, but took us from our beach vacation to handle the issues with staff. There's no information package, you have to attend an ORIENTATION 10am the day after checkin in order to understand the property, and all the perks. You can actually go to the affiliated marriott properties for dinner/lunch/enjoy their facilities. This is a game changer and isnt represented much, but dinner Resos are very hard to get at the other resorts. Gym here is small. One set of dumbells to 50lbs, double cable station, 2 treadmills and 2 olypticals. I would expect more from Marriott properties at $700USD/night+ Some staff are very friendly. Beach staff, Rhae and Celeste stood out to us as well. Everyone else is professional and nice. No problems at all. Lose a PLASTIC KEY CARD? Get ready for a $20USD charge. Absolutely ridiculous to charge for that especially when the cards lose their magnetization every 5 days

Flawless 10/10. The whole island was incredible, let alone crystal cove. Watching a turtle give birth on the beach was an amazing memory for me. Crystal cove is the best hotel I've ever stayed in aswell. Thank you!
