Pineapple Traveller
The staff are genuinely hospitable and live up to their mission-driven hospitality, the rooms are kept very tidy, and the front desk is attentive even with late-night requests. The location is also excellent, with a 7-11 nearby, a food hall in the basement, Jordan MTR about a five-minute walk away, plenty of vegetarian and vegan spots around, and Kai Kai Dessert with its traditional, Michelin-recognised sweets just close by. The bar on Level 4 has a great vibe too, especially on Friday and Saturday nights.

Room: clean, modern, comfortable, good AC, spacious by HK standards. Daily room service. Free water. Atmosphere: very thoughtfully designed. Known by locals. There’s music multiple nights a week but when I went it wasn’t a dancing vibe. Staff were courteous. Nice gym and pool. Food hall and daily buffets are cool too. Location: close to temple market, 30 minutes to the party areas (like Peel Street). 5 minutes to metro. Overall: at about $100 a night, I’d return here without hesitation when I come to HK. I usually go to hostels but this was definitely worth the premium.

Great hotel and staff, especially Anjala at breakfast was amazing and so kind to our kids, thank you!! Hotel itsel has a very cool vibe and interior decoration, Wong Kar Wai coded, absolutely unique. Only real point of feedback: FIX THE ELEVATORS. It was such a long wait everytime and they got so full going up and down stopping at almost svery floor.

The location of this hotel is very practical, close to an MTR station and on a main road. The rooms were generally quite small with the basic amenities. The breakfast buffet is great with many options. Not great vieww from the rooms.
