We had an incredible stay at the Hilton Cabo Verde Sal Resort in July. The hotel itself is kept clean and feels light and airy due to the open plan design with a spacious lobby. Pool area is quiet, relaxing and has it’s own pool bar/restaurant, the freshly made oven cooked pizzas were delicious and they served refreshing iced coffees and juices. The restaurant staff even bring the food over to your pool side deckchairs if you wish. Hotel staff and reception were incredibly warm, friendly and hospitable nothing was too much trouble and were very helpful whenever we asked for something. We enjoyed a fabulous massage at the spa along with the jacuzzi, sauna and steam room facilities. The therapists at the spa were attentive and welcoming. The hotel beach was kept immaculately clean with plenty of deckchairs to use for free to relax on. The Bounty beach restaurant has a relaxed ambience and offers an alternative dining experience with different dishes (to the buffet) and stunning sea views. The breakfast buffet in the hotel has a variety of options. However, the two negatives about the main restaurant is that flies would often go on the uncovered food e.g pastries, fruit at breakfast. The restaurant balcony doors should be kept closed to prevent this from happening. Also, as a vegetarian there was not much variety in the evening buffet. Overall had a very relaxing stay, the hotel is clean and well maintained and the welcoming and helpful service is unmatched.

Myself and my wonderful wife are in Cabo Verde stopping at the Hilton on the island of Sal I didn’t need a holiday and really wasn’t excepting very much perhaps that sounds arrogant of dismissive but I implore you to come here soon The hotel is perfect clean new well kept and good value. The pool beach and grounds are super. The bars and restaurants are lovely breakfast is a huge bonus and we are having a blast. The staff are great and prices are really reasonable given the service and quality. It just right. It’s a perfect pre dinner post night out stroll along a very nice and safe beach walk there’s places closer and not as nice and there’s others further away but I’m happy here As for Cape Verde It’s where you’re planning to go but 20 years younger it’s naive a bitty tatty very windy and my word the midday sun will peel you back like a lemon. But it’s simply fabulous Today I paddled with lemon sharks floated in a mineral mine and watched waves crash against volcanic rocks. Tonight I watched the street burst into dance outside a fish restaurant because the music sounded good. Children, dads, mums, young, old, French, Italian, English, German, Portuguese, and the gorgeous Cabo Verdeans and every other language and culture singing bustling around together. Smiling, talking, eating and drinking and simply living. The beaches are sandy the roads are rough the locals take no for an answer and don’t rip you off there’s no drugs apparent or strip clubs blasting there’s no designer shops or Michelin stars but there’s family restaurants and funky bars. It’s safe and easy it’s not expensive and it is lovely to see people having fun I had one of my best nights ever tonight watching a stream of people all enjoying themselves a real life moment Get here before the world ruins it You’re gonna thank me or tell me you missed out

We had a great time staying at the Hilton. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the staff very friendly. Amongst the best we’ve experienced! The fresh water swimming pool was a particular favourite and also the fantastic gardens surrounding the pool. Unfortunately I was ill during my stay but recovered enough after a couple days not to spoil the trip. A great location for enjoying water sports.

We had some great days in room #1050, fantastic suite (very comfortable bed) with a beautiful garden, directly to the beach front side. Beautifully maintained grounds, lovely pool and a magnificent green palm garden. Nice beachside/Restaurant and in walking distance to Santa Maria town. Strong WiFi even at the beach. A very pleasant atmosphere and consistently friendly staff. Special thanks to Adelio and his excellent team.

Our stay at Hilton Sal was truly amazing from start to finish. We had a fantastic time and left with very positive memories of both the hotel and the overall experience. The hotel itself is modern, beautifully curated, and exceptionally clean. Every area felt well-maintained and thoughtfully designed, which really added to the comfort of our stay. The atmosphere throughout the resort was relaxing and welcoming. The staff were warm, friendly, and always willing to help. While we did feel that improved English communication from some team members would make things even smoother, their kindness and positive attitude more than made up for it. A special mention goes to Sofia, who helped us book an excursion she was incredibly warm, attentive, and made the whole process easy and enjoyable. We’d also like to highlight Leonie, one of the lifeguards on the beach, who was gentle, respectful, and very helpful. We had a small child with us, and he was wonderful with him taking the time to play and interact, which meant a lot to us as parents and made the experience even more special. He was very comfortable around him, which says a lot. When you have staff like this, it truly elevates the entire holiday experience. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we would happily return.
