我想要留言感谢酒店前台的工作人员Amindi和所有酒店工作人员的帮助😻😻 I am writing to appreciate the help from concierge lady Amindi and want to express my sincere gratitude to all staff in the hotel. We finished our Osaka tour on 18th and planned to spend 2 nights at Kyoto Tokyu Hotel. On 19th, which is the second day after we left Osaka, I found out I lost my belongs in my previous hotel in Osaka but I had no clue how to contact them asap since I don’t have a local telephone number. So I headed to concierge to make a request. Amindi helped me to call the Osaka hotel, asked them to deliver, and also plan it ahead for me to pick it up before checking out. She also left a message to my room to let me know everything was done when I was out. That’s soooo touching and so caring. Thank you Amindi and also the other staffs. I can really feel that everyone who works here spends a lot of patience to do the best service ever. Highly recommend you guys to stay at kyoto Tokyo hotel!

Overall, it’s very good value for money. The location is great, and the shuttle bus is really handy. The hotel itself is nice. I’m not sure I’d call it five-star, but at £140 per night it’s definitely worth the price. The staff are very friendly and most of them speak good English. Breakfast was very good – I’d definitely recommend it. The rooms are small but very clean, with a smart TV and an immaculate bathroom. The only downsides are the poor mattresses, which really should be improved, and the soundproofing, which isn’t great but still acceptable. The lift beeps constantly, and it would be quite annoying if your room is right opposite the lifts.

This is a really nice hotel in Kyoto. We walked from the train station but the hotel does have a shuttle that we used on the return to the train station. Our room was spacious and. Wry clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. We would love to stay here again.

This place kind of sucks. No one brings your bags from your car. The lobby smells. They have extremely strict rules and make no exceptions. Food was very plain, and there are barely any gluten free options. You have to apply for a gym card then return it every day and check out a new card in the morning. The gym is tiny and run down. There is no counter space in the bathroom. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Rooms are outdated with a stale smell, and the provided deodorizer spray doesn’t help. As others mentioned, the hotel controls the air—rooms stay hot even in mild weather. Beds are hard, pillows flat, and overall comfort is lacking. Shuttle service to Kyoto Station runs when it feels like it; staff just suggest taking a taxi. Its location makes either a taxi or public transportation anywhere. It took four people before someone finally understood and helped with a simple luggage issue. Breakfast was average at best. This hotel has potential, but it feels like they’ve stopped caring about the guest experience. Definitely worth finding other hotels and taking the time to read others experiences
