We stayed at Leonardo Laura Beach & Splash Resort in August, and unfortunately our experience was disappointing, especially as a family with small children. The biggest issue was the heat. There is simply not enough shade around the pools, and the air conditioning was not strong enough for the August temperatures. The Kids Club was also disappointing in terms of operating hours. It closes at 5:00 PM, while dinner only starts at 7:00 PM. For families with babies and young children, those two hours are particularly difficult. There are also not enough indoor or shaded activities for small children who obviously cannot spend 10 hours a day in the pool. When we asked the staff what else we could do with the children, we were directed to the playground near the pools, but unfortunately there is almost no shade there either. On the positive side, the pool staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and we really appreciated them. Unfortunately, our experience with the reception/lobby staff was very different. They were not particularly friendly or helpful. I even tried to find a solution by asking about access to the VIP Lounge, which has a small indoor play area for children, but the price we were offered was extremely high and did not feel reasonable as a solution for hotel guests. For a resort that presents itself as a family hotel, I expected much better facilities and solutions for families with babies and young children, especially during the hottest month of the year. It is disappointing because with better shade, stronger air conditioning, longer Kids Club hours and more indoor activities for younger children, the experience could have been significantly better.

Not the best hotel i've been to in the last 5/6 years but one of the priciest... everything was like fine, but not good. The kids club open only for 4.5 hours a day even though you dont necessarily want to be in the pool all day( and if u have young kids they cant do much in the water park). The dining area-way too loud, the acoustics just terrible!!! We used to sit outside despite the heat of august. Not much vegetarian option of foodand the stuff wasn't really care about your request.. one day i asked for a sunnyside down WD and the stuff was like 'it is what it is' while he was making more of them but not done at all. Same food every day... A/c bot working well. We booked a suite but the balcony and the bathroom was really small. The beach was nice but the access was bad.. All inclusive but only in certain hours which is weird. It was fine but I will not be back

Just stayed at this hotel for 10 days and honestly couldn't fault it. Great family-friendly hotel. The staff are so friendly and cannot do enough for you. Food is plentiful and lots of options for picky eaters. Hotel is wonderfully clean and we were especially impressed with the daily text communications, especially advising us when heat weather warnings were in place. Regular bottles of water put in room also a thoughtful extra. Lots of sunbeds and activities planned. The kids club is air-conditioned so great for little ones who are getting a bit hot. Special mention to Ella and Elina who are part of the Entertainment team. We have really enjoyed their daily aqua zumba session. Also special mention to Galina A who was part of the housekeeping team on the 5th floor. She always took the time to say good morning and was so friendly and kind. Credit to the hotel. Would definitely visit again.

This will be a long review, reflecting our extended 14-night stay (July 23 – August 6). Prior to arrival, I reviewed online feedback, and both negative and positive comments were confirmed. Overall, I am satisfied with the stay, though it did not quite exceed expectations. Service & Personnel The staff deserves full credit. The team across the bars, restaurant, and reception was consistently helpful, professional, and welcoming. Housekeeping The primary issue was the sub-par housekeeping, which became quite frustrating during a two-week stay. Bed linens were merely flipped over rather than changed, and service was limited to towel replacements and superficial floor cleaning. While disappointing, it was manageable as we spent most of our time outdoors. Facilities & Infrastructure Aquapark: Being open to the general public resulted sometimes in significant crowding and long queues. However, the security team deserves praise for efficiently enforcing access control to keep non-guests out of the main hotel area. Location: Undoubtedly the hotel’s strongest asset. Excellent positioning with stunning promenade and sunset views. Dining: The à la carte options were outstanding, particularly the Greek, Italian, and burger venues. The Italian restaurant—open daily until 5:30 PM—was exceptional. Conversely, booking the Lebanese restaurant proved impossible due to extremely limited availability. The main buffet restaurant was repetitive and monotonous, lacking local specialties and seafood. Entertainment: Daytime activities were fine, but the evening entertainment fell significantly nad and boring. This area requires a structural overhaul and investment in higher-quality acts. To sum up the resort is well-suited for families; my son thoroughly enjoyed it, which was our priority. The beach (excellent by Cypriot standards), pool facilities with plenty of sunbeds, and views are clear highlights. However, considering the overall value proposition, the price for a two-week stay was considerably overvalued. I returned well-rested, but this was strictly a one-time visit.

We had an overall wonderful stay. Not only the food was excellent but also very memorable was our housekeeper GALINA and Artemis. Every day they were not only keeping the room squeaky clean but also went beyond and above to prepare small towel animal for the kids. They loved it. Every day a different animal. I would also recommend to anyone coming to book upgrade to the orange bracelet with the family lounge amenities. The stuff there where also very very helpful and cared to our needs as we where family to them !!!!!
