Had a nice stay for 2 nights here back in mid January. Room was spacious, well maintained, the bathroom is also spacious complete with a bath tub & a shower. Love the toiletries provided. Beautiful view of the sea, except that there’s no balcony. The window looks like they need cleaning from the outside. And there’s a big mirror in the room which is great for ootd. Location is near to all tourists attractions. It’s right in front of Anjung Kinabalu! All the staffs are very polite & helpful. The breakfast place at the lobby was in renovation at the moment so they moved it to another floor with meeting rooms as dining rooms. Various selection of options of food. However, the taste doesn’t fit our Semenanjung people’s tastebuds. It feels a little lacking, but still okay though. I left my jacket in the closet because the closet seems so blended in with the wall that I forgot there’s a closet. When I call their number to check if my item happened to be in lost & found, they said no. I was saddened by it bcs it’s practically brand new & I can pay for the shipping. But I guess maybe the housekeeping took it when they clean the room or whatever.

I would like to sincerely commend Roger, the manager of the hotel’s first-floor buffet restaurant, for his outstanding professionalism and leadership. From the moment we arrived, he ensured that every detail was handled with care and efficiency. The service was exceptionally well-organized, the staff were attentive and courteous, and the overall dining atmosphere was warm yet refined. Roger’s presence was clearly reflected in the smooth operation and high standards maintained throughout the restaurant. His ability to anticipate guests’ needs and respond promptly made the experience truly memorable. It is rare to encounter such dedicated and capable management, and he is undoubtedly a valuable asset to the hotel.

The service was truly impeccable, and the staff were incredibly attentive. They take great care of their guests with genuine warmth and professionalism. Everything was smooth, well-organized, and beautifully managed. The atmosphere was elegant, peaceful, and luxurious. Le Méridien exceeded my expectations in every way. I had an excellent experience at the hotel’s buffet restaurant on the first floor, and much of the credit goes to Roger, the manager. His leadership is evident in every aspect of the operation. I celebrated my birthday there on 24th February 2026 with my family and friends. I had just given birth a few weeks earlier and was dealing with a prolapsed disc complication, which made it difficult for me to walk and stand properly. During my visit, all the staff on duty were incredibly helpful and took really good care of me. Everyone was so warm and welcoming, and I truly can’t thank you enough for your kindness and hospitality. To all the staff working on 24/02/2026 during Iftar time — you guys are the best. We had a wonderful Anniversary Celebration Holiday at the hotel. What made our stay memorable was the out-of-the-box service approach by the staff. Every team member is ready to go the extra mile with smile. to . The F&B team was extremely responsive and thoughtful, especially in accommodating our dietary preferences. As a vegan, I was pleasantly surprised when they arranged an excellent Almond Milk Tea’ The team was also supportive in helping my husband with the anniversary celebration preparations😍 A very special thanks to Mohammed Saiful and the BF Operations Manager for their warm hospitality and outstanding service. Lighting & storage in the room could be bette though.
