A retreat to claim your sanity and urban rest. The resort was welcoming, cozy and provided all the unique alternative of adventure for sea activities. It was an immersive stay where peace and serenity were guaranteed to guests. The resort was breezy with clean coastal charm facing the iconic South China Sea, and long sandy beaches. My upgraded rooms were spacious with balcony facing the sea and the sound of the sea waves. We also benefited the scene of sun rise and sun set. The resort featured live football World cup matches at their lobby, a total plus for football fanatic…. my son, husband, sons in law The resort was children friendly. The downside of the resort was its remote location and the nearest commercial activities was about 30 mins drive hence budget dining could post a problem especially with children. The set up of the hotel could be a challenge to guest with limited mobility. Overall, our family of 14 pax enjoyed our stay at the resort and worth the investment made.

Stayed for one night to attend a wedding and had a pleasant stay. Staff were great. The room was clean, comfortable, and all amenities were in good working condition. It was nice that the TV had kids’ channels, which kept the little ones entertained. Kids enjoyed the pool and the beach. Breakfast was decent with a good enough selection. Overall, it was a comfortable stay and good value for the current price.

We stayed here to celebrate our anniversary and had a lovely overall experience - big thanks for Vanessa Thien for giving us the wedding vouchers last year. We had a fantastic wedding last year April and honestly it felt like yesterday - we had so much fun, rasa macam nak kahwin balik ahhahah 💛 And now we’re back here after a year to celebrate our anniversary. The highlight of our stay was definitely the candlelight dinner. The setup was beautiful, and the ambience made the night feel really special. A big thank you to Fuad, who took great care of us throughout the dinner—he was attentive, warm, and made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. He even gave us a memorable touch before we left, which we truly appreciated. The room itself was comfortable, though I would recommend informing the hotel in advance if you’re celebrating a special occasion and expecting any specific arrangements. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and a meaningful anniversary celebration. Thank you to the team for the hospitality.

Value for money 3/5 I booked for the garden villa n thy said thy ‘upgraded’ me to a seaview bcos there was a wedding going on n very likely thy gave my room away. 1st n 4most, u ask ur customer 1st if thy r ok w the upgrade n not after. 2b honest its a downgrade n not upgrade. The villa has a better feel n since it was my wedding anniversary I didn’t want to hv a bad start. Working to our room which was located at the very end which became mo frustrating n climbing up the level to our room I noticed the staircase was dirty like dis plc has been abandoned for a few months. U can see around u where things has been neglected. Our room was a generous size but felt empty n the bathroom window screen was dirty w stains n needed a good scrub. I actually took a shower w my slippers n the water pressure n heat was nice. U get 4 free bottles of water which is better thn only 2. 1 of the standing light cld not b switched off. The tv had no program dat v cld watch total isolation. Bed was big, a little on the hard side but at least the ac was cold. Great beach, pool water needs changing it’s almost milky n after 10m u can feel the stickiness. There’s also monkeys on the prowl from the roof near the pool waiting to take any food left behind so u may loose ur personal items. Management needs to do something about this. Strolling at night around the area of the resort, you will notice a few lights not working, palm trees that should be cut down basically a lot of maintenance that has been left undone. It’s sad 2c how dis resort is being managed so poorly

The Kenyalang Compass

The hotel may have past it's glory days, but the stay was pleasant. The room feels and outdated but everything was okay. Plenty of restaurants inside the resort to dine in, never have to go out of the resort. The lanscape might need some makeover tho, but of course the sunset is amazing from this resort. The view from the room's balcony on the 4th floor was majestic.
