Lovely 4 star hotel. Seaview was not what I would normally book, as when I do I expect a full sea view, not a view of the building next door and the roofs. When we queried this we was told those rooms are on the system as sea view - we were offered to change the next day but as we'd unpacked we declined. Exec lounges were lovely and a good place to go and cool down with nice snacks throughout the day. We didn't like the chaos of breakfast in the main restaurant so used the 6th floor lounge for breakfast. Have pastries, fruit and small dishes which were so cute. Coffee was a bit strong and It was hit and miss if had orange juice in the fridge, i had to almost have a row with the girl working there to get some one morning as she was abruptly telling me she had stocked the fridge! But there was other juice not orange. The reservation of sunbeds - Ridiculously stupid system and although we did pay for this we ended up upsetting new guests who thought they could claim our beds at 9am one morning by putting their towels on our beds! They didn't know of the upgrade and ticket on bottom of the bed system - so made it quite awkward having to tell them! And it made it look like we'd stolen their reserved beds...We also learned this from other guests who had to turf guests off their beds. Why doesn't the hotel just have a specific area for upgrade guests? The sea & beach was lovely, spent time there as it had a nice breeze to cool down from the heat. Pools were beautiful and we spent the days constantly in and out of them. The only negative with the shallow pool is that people struggle getting in & out, as there's no handrail or anything to assist you to get out. This really is an accident waiting to happen. The staff - a "few" were nice & friendly but on the whole we did not find them "amazing" like other reviews have stated. In fact the two ladies in the 6th floor lounge were actually quite rude & unwelcoming! Not what you expect to find in an exec lounge, not as lovely as the ground floor lounge staff - one of the 6th floor ladies was constantly shouting to someone on her phone which isn't what you expect when you go for a chilled breakfast at 8am! The turn down service - was just someone knocking with one clean towel & bearing in mind there was two of us that was an underwhelming service (unlike other hotels where they tidy, clean round and leave sufficient towels, facecloths and even a chocolate, etc. not here) I asked once for clean facecloths and never got them. Entertainment - Varied, quite good, especially the late bar with music (they call the club) although this closes at 1am the music finishes promptly before that. Bars- served great quality drinks, we really loved the availability of prosecco, cocktails and lovely iced coffees which were our go to in the day. Staff again OK, some only made a particular effort to those who had given tips. Also they would bring drinks round the pool to people on sunbeds, BUT only if you tip them! - surely it should be offered to anyone, or those that have upgraded? A very nice stay but all very odd with the different levels of service. Also not as hospitable as imagined it to be, especially as it was my first visit to Cyprus. But if you want a decent four star near Paphos harbour then book this hotel.

Overall, we would rate our 5-day stay as good, although there were a few significant issues. Our first disappointment came at check-in. The gentleman who welcomed us at reception (I believe his name was Thanos) seemed rather uninterested and provided us with no information apart from our room number. I had to find the meal times myself on the hotel's website, and it wasn't until the second day that I noticed a large information screen in the reception area where guests could access useful information and even make restaurant reservations. The food was good and there was plenty of choice, although after a few days it started to feel a bit repetitive. It was also very much geared towards British guests. The drinks included in the all-inclusive package were good as well, however, we were surprised that they were only available until midnight. After that, all drinks had to be paid for. In my opinion, this defeats the purpose of an all-inclusive package. We have stayed in many all-inclusive hotels before and have never encountered such a restriction. Another issue was the sunbeds around the pool. Many were reserved before breakfast and then left unused for most of the day. Fortunately, there were plenty of sunbeds on the grass area where it was usually possible to find a spot at any time. The pool water was unfortunately very cold, which may explain why so few people used it. We also noticed a lack of consistency among the lifeguards, some allowed inflatable rings and mattresses in the pool, while others did not. On a very positive note, all the bartenders, waiters, and housekeeping staff deserve special recognition. They were friendly, hardworking, and professional, and their excellent service greatly enhanced our stay. There was always something happening at the hotel, so it was impossible to get bored. The evening entertainment was particularly enjoyable. Guests could listen to live music in the lobby and from 9 p.m. onwards, enjoy dancing in the nightclub. Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment and the main reason we would not return was the handling of our late check-out request. We asked about a late check-out when we arrived, and Thanos assured us that it would not be a problem and advised us to come back the day before departure. When I did so, I was told to return again on the day of departure. The following morning, before breakfast I went back to reception only to be informed that a late check-out was not possible because the hotel was fully booked. In my opinion, this was very poor customer service. If the hotel could not guarantee a late check-out, we should have been informed from the beginning rather than being given false hope and asked to keep checking back. As our transfer was scheduled for late in the evening, this caused considerable inconvenience. To summarize, we enjoyed many aspects of our stay, including the food, entertainment, atmosphere, and the excellent service provided by most of the staff. However, the way our late check-out request was handled left a very negative impression, and despite the hotel's many strengths, we would not choose to stay here again.

From the moment we arrived we knew we were in a luxury 5* Adults Only Hotel 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Last year we made the mistake of staying at a so called 5* hotel in Turkey where we were treated as second class citizens to a certain nationality and the staff favoured these extremely rude guests over the polite British guests, it was damn right rude and disrespectful, we swore blind we would never go to an all inclusive Hotel/Resort again. However we risked it and WOW what a different country, culture and totally beautiful human beings can do to change your mind. We arrived at The Leonardo Plaza Cypria Maris Beach & Spa and the welcome was 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 and we immediately knew that this holiday was going to be amazing, and we weren’t wrong. We were welcomed with a glass of champagne and advised by the lovely lady who checked us in all about the hotel and what was where and everything we needed to know, our bags were delivered to our room by a really friendly chap. The room was lovely, clean, lovely size with a nice welcome treat, and great coffee station with Nespresso coffee machine and kettle with coffee and tea, a lovely well equipped clean bathroom with awesome walk in shower. The hotel is beautiful, clean and comfortable. Although it is huge it doesn’t feel like it, unlike a lot of all inclusive hotels. They have nailed the 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 All Inclusive and we felt the adults only really made this hotel even better. We find all inclusive dining very canteeny however, you obviously have to work out the best time that suits you if you want quieter but that’s easily sussed out. The food is delicious, really varied and lots of choices to satisfy everyone. The staff are outstanding and friendly and Breakfast and Lunch is looked after by The Amazing Fotoula 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I am an avid people watcher and I was fascinated watching Fotoula greet everyone with such warmth whilst keeping an eye on absolutely everything that was going on with out detracting from her conversation with her guests 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 To be totally honest I wish I had taken note of everyone’s names because you are all 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 and above. All went above and beyond, top notch service when you approach the bar and the Bar Tender says ‘vodka tonic for the lady’ or ‘ice coffee with Baileys’ ‘Irish Coffee with Baileys’ that is hospitality at its finest 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. I hope you guys read this as thank you all for your hard work and amazing 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 hospitality. Without you all being so friendly, polite, professional, fun and just 100% lovely and that goes out to every single person that works tirelessly to make sure we all have the best holiday you are 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Amazing. Huge shout out to the shop downstairs that sells awesome products at great prices, never have I ever been to a hotel where they had such a lovely shop with such great products at such great prices. One thing I purchased was a small leather purse that was a great price. I just wanted a cheap small purse and I couldn’t believe it when I realised it was leather and proper leather that smells lovely. It’s so refreshing that a hotel has such an amazing shop run by a lovely gentleman and young lady who again have 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 customer service. We had a Fantastic, Wonderful, Amazing holiday thanks to you all 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 see you next year 🌞🌞🌞🌞

Nicely positioned hotel right on the beach at Cypria Bay with a short (50 mins) walk along the beach into Paphos with shops and supermarkets etc. The hotel is next to the centre of beach activities including parasails, jet skis and banana boats. We were 'all-inclusive' although there are some layers of all-inclusive which I've not managed to work out fully and which weren't made apparent on the travel company's website We booked a sea view room and were adorned with purple wrist bands upon arrival, which allowed 'branded' drinks as part of the package. There was also a silver wrist band, which, in addition to branded drinks and waiter service around the pool, allows for the reservation of sunbeds and parasols via the towel hut, meaning, if you were unfortunate to rise late or had gone on a trip, you'd find most poolside sunbeds gone (there is an additional grassy area which does have further beds and parasols). There is a blue wristband which is basic and doesn't allow branded alcoholic drinks, waiter service or sunbed reservations. I believe the colour possibly changes from week to week regarding levels of exclusivity but am unsure on that. This adults only hotel had a mix of clientele when we stayed (end May 2026) ranging from older adults in their seventies to more middle-aged people and then to large groups of youngsters (early twenties). Despite it being half-term, there were no teenagers here. Drinks are freely available via a pool bar or self-service areas dotted around the pool and restaurant areas. The self-service areas supply Keo beers, white/red/rose wines as well as branded soft drinks. Restaurants include a buffet, Italian/Greek/Asian (booking required) and a lunch kiosk serving fast hot food, a fridge with sandwiches and pre-made desserts. The Italian is also open for lunch for basics (pizza & spaghetti). Meals are okay with a good variety of well cooked flavoursome food. Service can be hit and miss so it's easier to serve yourself drinks where you can (and according to your wrist band colour). The room we had was spacious with excellent air conditioning, a very small balcony, bathroom with a shower and a king or larger bed. TV has UK channels and the plugs are UK plug style so no need for adaptors. The maid service was superb with a daily service leaving our room very clean and tidy (and usually a nicely designed towel feature on the bed). Evening entertainment was usually a singer of some kind with a guitar etc although one evening was a guitarist accompanied by a lady violinist who was amazing. There is also a night club where the service and drinks are better made (especially the cocktails). Service at the bar out in the main area by reception can be hit and miss with bar-people unaware of who to serve next, mostly as it is very busy. Jonathan is an excellent waiter, however -- him and many of his colleagues provide superb service. Generally, it's a lovely hotel and if you can put up with the strange brand of 'sunbed wars', the crowds of youngsters with loud speakers and balls in the pool (both supposedly not allowed) then it's worth coming. Enquire about the differing levels of all-inclusive when you arrive or when you book with your travel company. It's so a golfers hotel so, if you play golf, definitely consider this one -- there is a superb indoor simulator with several courses pre-loaded.

We stayed at Leonardo cypria Maris from 01/06/26 till the 08/06/26. The hotels right on the beachfront with stunning views, it’s the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed in! The cleanliness in the rooms and overall in the hotel is impeccable. Staff are very friendly and we didn’t have one bad experience, I didn’t catch names however the brown haired lady who’s at guest services couldn’t have done more for us and the man who was always working in the pool bar was friendly and took time to remember us and say hi daily. There’s always something going on every night wether it’s in the lobby or by the pool bar, singers or Dj. We flew with Jet 2 and upgraded to deluxe last minute and we don’t regret it and the cost is definitely worth it! We had reserved sunbeds throughout the duration of our stay but there’s always plenty and no sunbed wars at this hotel. Housekeeping always did a great job of cleaning out rooms. We really enjoyed the buffet food, something different each night. The Gyros at the snack bar are to die for! Ps the ice coffee were our go too every morning! There’s many options on the drinks menu lots of cocktails and something for everyone ! We would definitely stay again and are planning for next year.
