Stayed 7 night at the hotel. The staff very friendly and helpfull. The room were big a bed also big and confortable. We had a breakfast and dinner package. The food were just unreal, not just a lot to choose from, but different food every day. If you cant find there anything that you want to eat , than you are not hungry at all. Just perfect . Only few negatives , the drink for a dinner is not free, not even the water . Understand to pay for alcohol, but at least the water should be part of the dinner. €4 for a bottle of water , very expensive. The service at the bar was very poor time to time in the evening. Once we were waiting 42 min to someone even asking if we want drink something, and one other time they have forgot to bring the drink that we ordered, took them 17 min to realised. The room cleaning service very poor , towels were replace with a dirty one ( seem to be clean , until unfolded) , no brush in the toilet and old rusty rubbish bin. Defenetley not a 5 star standard. Overall, it was a good experience.

This was our 3rd time staying at the Sheraton Fuerteventura and we've loved it every time. The highlights are that it is a very relaxing hotel, there's more than enough sun loungers. There's none of the stress of having to reserve loungers like you get everywhere else! The coffee at the breakfast buffet is proper barista made. We went half board, and the quality of the food at breakfast and dinner is very good. There is an excellent kids club and great adult entertainment. The hotel also made a very nice effort in marking our daughter's birthday. The staff are excellent and remembered us from previous visits. A special thank you to Aaron and Olga on the entertainment team, and Samuelle our waiter for the extra special effort they made for us on our holiday.

Just back from our first visit to this hotel. Have stayed on the island 7 times already in various hotels but this was lovely. Really large room, super spacious. Bed was massive! You could sleep 4/5 in the bed! We just had b&b and it was well worth it. Breakfast had a huge selection of hot & cold options. Something for everyone. It was my birthday while we were there and was so surprised when the maitre d, wished me a happy birthday going in for breakfast and another lovely surprise of a bottle of sparking white wine in the room for me. A lovely touch.

Just returned from our first stay here and we were thoroughly impressed. From the moment we arrived - every staff member we came across was friendly, attentive and very welcoming! Great with kids! The service was excellent, they couldn't do enough for you. Our room was spotless and spacious, beds cozy and very comfortable, bed linens changed every 3 days, towels as required... house-keeping in every day, done a tremendous job! Can understand some people's views on needing modernisation however we felt the rooms very Canarian, along with a lot of the decor throughout the hotel and we liked that. I hope it doesn't lose that charm during the refurbishment. The facilities are great, as is the entertainment around for the kids - this was something that took us by surprise (our youngest (5 months) wasn't particularly fussed but our eldest (3 years) loved it). Characters dressed up round the pool, mini-discos, the kids pool, the on-site park.... unfortunately our eldest was just a touch too young for the kids club but she thoroughly enjoyed everything else! The pool and garden areas were maintained on a daily basis. We were only bed & breakfast however we did eat at the buffet twice during our stay - plenty of food options to choose from, something for everyone, food was hot and cooked well. A very relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Same for breakfast! Plane noise - yes, planes fly overhead and you do hear them however I would never call it disruptive and if this is a concern to anyone - I really wouldn't let it put you off. The location of the hotel is beautiful although if you want to explore the town of Caleta de Fuste it's about a 20-25 minute walk along the sea front (which is a lovely walk, and plenty opportunities to spot the resident chipmunks among the unbuilt areas!). A taxi is only €4 but was easier for us to walk than to fold up/unfold two buggies academy two children every time to get into a car. A 10 minute walk in the opposite direction takes you to a decent enough commercial centre where you can find a few shops, bowling, a supermarket and a couple of restaurants. This area also has a large play area for kids with parks, trampolines etcs. You also have direct access to the beach from the hotel which is a bonus! Whether you're looking for somewhere to stay and spend your full holiday or somewhere to use as a base and explore the island (highly recommend hiring a car and taking in some of the beautiful volcanic scenery), the Sheraton ticks all the boxes and we look forward to returning in the future. Thank you to each and every member of staff we came across during our stay, you made it a very enjoyable week and delightful first visit to Fuerteventura!

Starting with the good, the hotel rooms are a good size, it has 4 swimming pools, 1 kids pool, 2 heated pools and a natural temperature cool pool. The grounds were nice and kept clean, although the fish stream could have done with some of the rubbish removing from it. However on the not so good side, the food was hit of miss, lunch was poor to average at best from the pool bar. Meal times were not overly kid friendly for younger kids with lunch starting from 12:30 and dinner not starting until 19:00pm. Some of the staff where less then helpful/rude, not go say all as the room cleaning staff were friendly. Everything appeared to be hassle for the staff and to much trouble at times. (We requested some milk and tea bags for the room as they were not restocked with the room clean and it took nearly 2 hours) It was definitely not a 5* hotel welcome as experienced at many other Marriot hotels. Additionally somthing to be aware of is that everything is an additional cost, the site boasted having a mini golf course but cost 6 euro per person or 3 euro for kids. The tennis courts were 10 euros an hour to use. Te hotel spa costs 30 euros per person for 3 hours and 15 euros for a 3+ year old. So for a family of three staying at the hotel looking to use the spa for the morning session it was an additional 75 euros. The hotel mentions that it has a games room but again every game cost money to play, for example 1 game of pool was 2 euros. The drinks in the hotel were very expensive with a bottle of water costing 3.5 euro for a standard 330ml. Cocktails were 14 euros each. Overall it was not a 5* experience but was most certainly a 5* price tag on the holiday.
