I visited the Sheraton FuerteVentura because 10 years ago I visited the Sheraton in La Caleta (Tenerife) - the experience I had at the Tenerife venue was excellent )the Tenerife Sheraton is now owned and run by Tivoli fyi. The good bits are, lovely pool area with beachfront access, large buffet style breakfasts and dinners ( see further comments on food*) the coffee is ‘real’ (no powdered versions) bedrooms are spacious with lovely shower, bath, separate wc and his and hers wash basins. Staff are on the whole friendly and helpful and 90 % of them speak very good English. Not so good parts are, the interior could use a makeover and seems dated in some areas )see plaster falling off the wall outside our room door. The Spa is lovely however at €25 per person I expect all facilities to be available but they weren’t. The Pebble walk was not working, the shower experience (x3 separate pods) only one of these worked, the Roman bath was not working and on another visit the sauna room was closed. * One evening on the cheese display in the buffet restaurant there were flies all over the cheese (🥵) see pics and video - I would say in fairnesss I only saw this once but for me this was once too much. On the whole a good experience and I would visit again however compared to my first experience in Tenerife this visit was not quite as high quality mainly relating to the food being not as high standard as I previously experienced. On half board basis you pay for all drinks (eg bottle of sparkling water in mini bar is €3.25 ) I bought a bunch of these from the local supermarket and stocked up the minibar with these). If you like cocktails, they are excellent in the Sheraton but between 14 and €15 each . If you grab a taxi to Caleta de Fuste town centre and go to bar Oliver Fly the cocktails are just as good and nearly half the price. Beach Club Chiringuito La Isla is a very good restaurant set directly behind the Sheraton access via walkway from the beach - I recommend this for amazing views but it’s very windy and I have done a separate review on this. If this review has helped please like it and you follow me I will follow you back. Have a lovely day.

Of course — here’s the updated version including Tom and the staff: We had a wonderful stay at Sheraton Fuerteventura. The breakfast and dinner selections were excellent, with plenty of choice and very good quality. Our room was big, spacious, and very comfortable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel is also fantastic for families, with kids’ activities running all day long and into the evening. There was always something for the children to enjoy, which made the holiday relaxing for everyone. A special thank you to the staff, especially Tom, who always seemed to be around everywhere and made time to have a friendly word with all the guests. His presence and warm approach really added to the experience. We honestly could not fault our stay. We came back after 11 years, and we still love this hotel just as much. A truly lovely experience, and we would happily return again.

Our stay at Sheraton Fuerteventura was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly and welcoming which made the whole experience even more special. A special mention to William who was so easy to talk to and always accommodating - he truly made us feel looked after throughout our stay. Some of us in the group used to work for Marriott as well so it was lovely sharing stories and experiences with the team. You can really tell when people genuinely care about hospitality and everyone we met made us feel right at home. We also loved spending our evenings enjoying the live music and relaxing at the Piano Bar for drinks. Huge thanks as well to Julian and Jorge at the bar, who quickly became our friends during the trip! They were fun, attentive and kind enough to put up with our craziness (nothing too wild - just girls having fun!). This trip was extra meaningful as it was our very first girls’ trip together and also a celebration of our 35th birthdays so it’s one we’ll always remember fondly. Thank you to everyone at Sheraton Fuerteventura for helping make it such a memorable and special experience. We can’t wait to come back!

The hotel is very nice and the rooms are large with good facilities. When you walk through the corridors to your room, the carpet is very old and worn and the whole place has the feeling of faded elegance but for the price it is very good. Our biggest gripe was regarding the dinning, which is all part of the package. They don't provide water and you are not allowed to bring your own and the water on sale is in fancy bottles and expensive. We did bring our own one evening and you would have thought we were trying to steel from from them. There was a meal in a separate restaurant that was part of our package and we were told it wasn't until we were able to come up with proof. Having said all of the above, we have had a lovely time.

Just got back from a week at the Sheraton Hotel with my sister who this year is celebrating her 60th birthday so wanted something a little more luxurious than we would normally book and wow did it deliver! The view from our room was amazing overlooking the sea and tennis courts, the room was spacious and the bathroom was to die for, absolutely immaculately clean throughout, on arrival William greeted us he was lovely. The pool areas were second to none and plenty of space so no problem finding a bed, very clean and tidy with plenty of pool towels available, the hotel is directly on the beach and a spar is just a few minutes walk away in one direction and caleta was a 15 minute walk in the other direction. A taxi from caleta back to the hotel cost just 4 euro we discovered on our last evening there sadly. Got into a taxi at the airport to go to the hotel cost around 17 euro. The breakfasts were everything you could wish for and finished at 11am so no having to set an alarm didn't have evening meals because we like to be out and about in the evenings. My only concern was the cost of drinks 2 glasses of water at the poolside bar cost 11 euro, 2 vodka and cokes in the piano bar cost 22 euro, that was the only downside for us. In general we had the best holiday ever felt very spoilt with our room, I will be looking for somewhere to go in April to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary so I may well be seeing you again soon, thank you!
