Had a wonderful time at the hotel. We went as a large group for a team building experience - the hotel provided space, support and great availability to our needs. The staff was incredibly friendly and the facilities were clean and aesthetically pleasing. The rooms are specious and bed is comfortable. The hotel has everything you need for a short business trip and is well located to the Center and beach. The pool was cold but other than that everything was perfect. Special thanks to Marina who supervised our stay and was incredible throughout the whole process. Will come back for sure.

Firstly, I would like by saying the hotel looked amazing but the staff made the experience a disaster! Staff are extremely rude, they don’t help, they don’t greet people just stare. The food at the hotel is also terrible! I requested for a well done burger and it came medium and I complained and didn’t eat the food, they still made me pay for it. I complained to the manager the following few days and they said that they can’t find my money on the system. So basically saying that I never paid for the food. She then persisted to state that she will call me when I get back to the U.K. to get this sorted for me. I have had no emails or calls from the manager. This hotel service is just fully trash and I will never recommend and will never come back! I was holding out for writing a review to see if the manager would reach out but NO nothing! I am going to make sure I write a review everywhere in regards to this hotel so no one can experience what we did. Each day we had to ask the cleaners to clean our room other wise our room would not get cleaned! I can’t believe hotel has made my first experience in Marbella so bad that I don’t even want to go back to Marbella. As I was complaining on my last day there were other people complaining! This just shows how bad the service is! Do not recommend!!

Had a wonderful week at this hotel. We were a large group due to a wedding however the service and the rooms were excellent. The food at the breakfast buffet was always hot and tables were quickly cleared. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very spacious and the cleaning staff were always efficient and friendly. My only complaint would be the price of ice creams for the children priced at €7 each!! The walk into Puerto Banus only took 10 minutes so not far if you wanted nightlife. All in all, we had a wonderful stay. Thanks to everyone at Meliá Banús. Would definitely recommend.

After eating a burger at their restaurant i got food poisoning. The burger I had did taste odd and after 30min I was sick. I have struggled the whole night and in the morning I decided to notify the manager that I have gotten sick so they can check the kitchen so this doesnt happen to anybody else. Manager assured me I was the only one in the hotel who got sick and that the food is all good. I accepted that who knows it must be something else. After 24h I was feeling better and chatting to a lady with a small child I learn that her husband is in the room vomiting and having diarrhea after eating a sausage in the same restaurant. When we went to check out they wanted to charge us for the food we had that gave me poisoning. That is when I reacted and this is just wrong. Its not about 50 euro charge for the food its about human decency and the fact that I was now 100% sure it was food poisoning. Horrible way as a manager to even consider charging for that food. The manager made me feel like I am lying that I got sick. She told me I offered you a doctor and you denied. Yes I want the doctor to come to my room and see me hugging the toilet... In the end we did not pay for that meal we had but just the fact we had to argue and feeling I did something wrong made my holiday bitter.

Had a wonderful relaxing stay in this hotel. Unusually, all staff here were excellent and seem to get on really well together, which made our experience very special indeed. Amalia was amazing - such a wonderful person, so helpful, generous and cheerful from the outset... we are so grateful, and we really enjoyed Christina's stretching exercises - for the benefit we received, and also for her kindness. If you want a relaxed, welcoming environment, we would absolutely recommend this hotel and look forward to returning.
