The hotel was pretty average clean and room attractive but the hot tub made my vacation. The staff was not friendly at all with few exceptions. Couldn’t even a get a good morning or good night . For some I had to personally engage in conversation to find out what there country highlights was as a first timer in Barbados. (No success).The beach was not swim able very dark , seaweed all over. From check in to check out we had to call to have them reset the AC at least 2 to 3 times a day. One night an employee suggested we had to wait until the next morning before it could be reset. Which fortunately the next staff fixed that thank God I thought wow she said that! Overall I’m not going back there I felt unwanted for the time and money I spent. If your celebrating something special go somewhere else. the hotel really dampened my mood, anniversary, and vacation. It was all inclusive food and drinks on there time Good food too from what I did eat .But with the service we skipped a lot of the designed food times available to eat and drink!

This was my last 4 day hotel stay after 2 months and 4 different accommodations in Barbados. The best value for sure. Clean. Friendly service staff. Food is ok but very accommodating if you have a specific request. Short walk/3 houses down street, to Enterprise beach. Hotel supplied loungers and umbrellas on beach. Beautiful view from hotel and picnic tables across street. Small but clean pool. 24 hr security. 24 hour fitness room. I recommend it. Good value particularly given Barbados is quite pricey and some places are risky gamble.

Our week at Abidah left us full of praise and commendation. We chose Abidah for its size, features and location. We came to the resort with reasonable expectations. To our surprise and delight; Abidah exceeded every expectation and over-delivered on every aspect of our stay. Rooms are generous, clean, and well-equipped. Beach is quieter and somewhat private compared to larger resorts, yet beautiful, sandy, with crystal clear water. Pool is clean, convenient, and well-equipped. To us; Abidah excels in client service. Our experience with the front desk and food service was exemplary. With only 40 rooms, dining was never crowded. Food was plentiful, interesting, and very tasty every day. There were themed nights as well. The dining room staff excelled in creating that “at home” feeling. We fully expected to eat out at restaurants but never did because of the quality and camaraderie. Joy, a senior member of the staff, gave us great advice on where to go on the island and most importantly, how to get there. Joy brought joy to our day, every day. Bus and cab service was readily available nearby or directly from the resort. Front desk was great at arranging day trips. Barbados is; by any description; a warm and welcoming nation that embraces tourists with open arms. Our visit to the island was exceptional thanks to Abidah, its great staff, and winning attitude to guests. We will definitely return.

At the outset this looks to be a nice hotel until things go wrong. First thing to note it is on a very quiet beach road in the middle of nowhere. Being partially disabled I do need an elevator, this was broken for the first two days. Reception staff were so ignorant and all they could say was that is was under maintenance but there was no one working on it, the truth of the matter was that an engineer had to be flown out to the Island the following day. The website stated that there was a Spa on the balcony and yes there was, having climbed into it to discover it was not working, reception advised that I had not booked spa treatments!!. I had booked an Ocean view room to discover it was a side view room, they advised they use the same ocean view image for all the rooms. Restaurant staff were quite nice, the food was far from it, what should be hot was warm and what should be cold was also warm. Lunch or evening meal was either soup or salad to start with, then a fish dish or two other choices plus Rice or steamed Veg, desert had a choice of two items and when they had gone they had gone. There was very limited drink options. The final two days of our stay they advised there was no fresh linen so rooms did not get cleaned or towels replaced. At most this is a three star hotel in financial difficulties.

Wow! What a hidden gem! Been to Barbados two times before at different properties. This place far exceeds any other hotel. The food, people who work here, and the views amazing. Everyone treats you like family and is so warm and welcoming. Short two minute walk to be on the beach. Special shout out to JaLisa Dre and Tyrell. Drinks are strong and get you where you want to be! Having my own jacuzzi was a special treat as well. Pool area is small, but I had no problem laying out for 6 days. I’m actually sad to leave this wonderful place. The room is huge. There are no gift shops around, and the spa was closed all week. Oistens is nearby though. Wish they had the a la cart menu like their website says, but it was buffet every meal. I found my new hotel to stay in when I visit Barbados again. If you haven’t been November is perfect weather wise! Can’t reccomend this place enough.
