Dee Block

This resort is a smaller scaled Ocean front (no beach) resort. The staff was very kind and the customer service was awesome. I particularly liked Jocelyn & Mya's excellent customer service at the dining hall. The variety of food was good with a reasonable amount of options. There were no elevators in my building, so keep that in mind if you have physical challenges. The climbing of stairs to the 4th floor was too much for my vacay and I would not do that ever again🤦🏾‍♀️

Just wrapped up a short getaway here and had a really solid experience overall (8/10). ​The real standout of this resort is the hospitality. Customer service was excellent (9.5/10) and the staff are a flawless 10/10! A huge special shout-out to Kareene (the bartender) and Crystal (the hostess) at the Sunset Bar and Restaurant. They were absolutely magnificent and made our Monday night by the bar incredible. ​While we missed out on dinner at Enid’s, we thoroughly enjoyed stopping into De Rum Shop to play some pool. ​As for the rest of the resort, the rooms, activities, and overall cleanliness were a comfortable 7/10, and the food was a bit more average at a 6/10. Because the incredible staff completely elevated the atmosphere, we had a wonderful, relaxing break and would definitely recommend it for the vibes and top-tier service!

The good: Beautiful resort, I loved being able to walk out and snorkel. The staff was good for the most part. 3 standouts are Kareene, Sophia and John! Unfortunately there were also some very unhappy staff. The food they did offer was good for the most part. The rooms were great and the ac was awesome. The 3 level pool was very nice. Overall very nice on the top surface. Unfortunately the bad outweighed the good. The bad: The dining options were horrible! Restaurant closed for renovations left us only outdoor dining. The 2 dinner menus that rotated every other day got old. The food truck food was very good for the most part but the service and the wait times were not good at all. There was 1 good employee there but the other lady was very rude and didn't care about anything at all. No options at all for any food after dinner anywhere. Not being able to go to anyplace at all for ac (other than our room) was just horrible. You couldn't sit anywhere with ac until 1030 pm and that was the piano bar. The out door entertainment area desperately needs work. There were huge beautiful fans in these areas unfortunately not a single one worked and they didn't care at all about it. We were in our room by 9 most every night because it was just so miserable sitting there and sweating through your dinner clothes. The pool does not have a swim up bar which is not horrible but the lack of pool service was. Some days we didn't see anyone out there at all. We felt very bad for the staff due to the total lack of management and entertainment. I honestly think if they got the right people in there it could be great. This is not a 4 star resort whatsoever. Unfortunately we will not return to this property again.

Great adults only resort. Not a huge overcrowded place. The beach is great. A+++ if you like to snorkeling. The food was really good and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The bartenders made fantastic drinks, and kept the party going every night. Will definitely return.

This hotel was amazing! Friendly staff. Excellent food at every meal. Great cocktails and drinks. Brilliant air con. Brilliant shower and room overall. Fridge in the room was very handy. Comfy bed. Lovely cool, clean pools. Sturdy sunbeds, can sit on very end and nothing moves. Plus very comfy cushions. Loads of choice for pool or beach. A Sandy beach is a short walk (2mins past last sunbeds) or straight to sea via steps by terrace. Water sports are amazing, sooo many fish to see, less than 10ft from shore. Entertainment is good and not too loud if you are retiring early. Activities throughout the day are ace. Highly recommend the rum tasting and mixology. Check in and out was simple and no problem with using hotel until pick up. Trips arranged through the hotel are brill, jeep safari, sunset catamaran and oistins trip. Spa is fab, massages are lush. Jetskis outside the hotel are independent (100 USD dor 30mins) and are lovely guys. Hotel shop is well stocked, everything from mouthwash to playing cards, and some great souvenirs. Everywhere was clean and well maintained, and things were logical, restaurant timings, room layouts etc. Everyone was friendly and happy to help with any questions. Supermarket and other gift shops 15min walk following the road left out of the hotel. Will definitely be back, hopefully same time next year. This place has everything for a varied and relaxing holiday, was very sad to leave.
