We have just returned home from the most incredible stay at The Sands Barbados and honestly everything was perfect from start to finish. This hotel will always hold such a special place in our hearts as my now fiancé proposed to me during our stay, and the staff were amazing in helping him organise everything behind the scenes and keeping it all a secret. A special thank you has to go to Ricardo, who helped my fiancé organise the proposal. He was absolutely amazing and played such a huge part in making the whole experience so perfect and memorable for us. We are so grateful for everything he did. From the moment we arrived, every single member of staff was so warm, friendly and helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble and everyone genuinely made us feel so welcome and relaxed throughout our holiday. Our room was beautiful with the most amazing view, waking up every morning felt like a dream. The food was also lovely with so many great options and everything always fresh and presented beautifully. One thing we especially loved was how helpful the hotel was with organising taxis and helping us get around the island easily. It made everything completely stress free and so convenient. The location, atmosphere, staff and overall experience were honestly faultless. We have made memories here that we will treasure forever and we are already talking about when we can come back. Thank you so much to everyone at The Sands for making our holiday and engagement so unforgettable.

Just came back from a glorious 7 day trip to paradise. From the 10 minute ride from the airport, to the rum punch we were handed checking in, the hospitality of the staff never stopped. From Kemar and Michael greeting you at the door and making you have fun and laugh every day to the talents of Danny and the other bartenders making the best cocktails you can imagine! Cherie and the staff at the buffet are top notch and will get you anything you desire. Lastly, the cleaning staff are amazing. Our room was lovely…always clean and comfortable. Our friends had the Super saver room and they said it was perfect. It was slightly smaller, but with so many things to do, you don’t stay inside. Also, as a side note, we did a 4 hour island tour with Antonio, arranged through the resort, it was wonderful and well worth the cost.

Very very small but cute hotel. One of the BEST beaches I have ever expierenced. I have been to almost a dozen islands, and very few places have compared to the beach at The Sands. If you are used to staying at even mid to small large scale resorts (think Royalton, Beaches, Riu, etc) - this will be a shock. One resteraunt, one bar, one pool. But the quality of each of those aspects was great. Lovely staff, lovely food and drinks, great large scale rooms. We had a 3 bedroom suite and it was extremly spacious. Overall, I would say I persoanlly prefer the larger resorts - but The Sands has something great on there hands here. I would return.

Our first time on the island for our annual girls’ trip 2026. We stayed in a spacious three-bedroom, two-bathroom suite, which was perfect for the three of us—comfortable, convenient, and ideal for sharing. Michael from guest services was exceptional. He went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience, helping us plan and book all of our excursions seamlessly. We were also so impressed by the rest of the team, Kenmar, Nicoli, David (who made incredible cosmos!), Antonio, who always kept the energy up, and all the wonderful ladies in the dining hall especially Anna-Lisa who always had a smile on her face. We left a little piece of ourselves there definitely a trip to remember. 🇧🇧

A wonderful Bajan owned hotel that generously accommodated our 4 generation family holiday, 11 people across a range of suites, apartments and rooms. Lovely accommodation in pristine grounds on a beautiful beach. The staff at The Sands were outstanding, I'd like to name them all, they helped make our stay memorable. Great variety of food; breakfast, lunch which can be sat down meal or a regular burger, fish or veggie burger on the beach if you prefer. I particularly enjoyed the Bajan national dish Coucou and fish. Afternoon tea is also available in the mix. This hotel is an all rounder that will suit familys and couples. Good location for transport into town Oistins, Speighstown plus you can visit their sister hotel Mango Bay in Holetown. If you want to chill on the beach, its a few steps away. This Bajan run hotel is a great base to relax or if you want to visit the beautiful, friendly and packed with history island that is Barbados❤️
