When it comes to families, Ajman Holidays deliver in abundance, with lots of exciting activities and attractions, as well as a relaxed atmosphere perfect for children. Older kids will have hours of fun tackling Aqua Bounce floating assault course, located close to shore in the Arabian Gulf, while Ajman Water Park is sure to delight visitors of all ages when it opens this summer. Both are ideal places to keep children cool in the sun and feature an array of slides, chutes and obstacles. Indoor fun and air-conditioned comfort can also be found in Ajman’s shopping centres, where children’s play areas and entertainment zones await. Head to Ajman City Mall, to discover arcade games and rides at Magic Planet, or catch a movie at the multi-screen cinema complex. Back in the great outdoors, any nature-loving families should make a beeline for Al Zorah Nature Reserve to spot flamingos and a multitude of other fascinating creatures.

While days at the beach, activities and family fun might be Ajman holiday priorities, making time to experience the Emirate’s rich culture and heritage should not be forgotten. A trip to an authentic souk is an ideal way to immerse yourself in everyday life, with the Saleh Souq a wonderful place to pick up unique souvenirs and explore a hive of clothing and textiles stalls. If history is your thing, you can journey into the Emirate’s enthralling past during a visit to Ajman Museum, which is located in an 18th century fort that previously served as the ruler’s residence. Traditional architecture can also be found, with the Aamnah Bint Ahmad Al Ghurair Mosque, the Sheikh Zayed Mosque and the Al-Murabbaa Watchtower all worth seeking out. For an experience that combines culture, history and spectacular scenery, head to the foothills of the Hajar mountain range. Here you’ll find Masfout, a traditional village, and visit Masfout Castle, a 19th-century tower offering awe-inspiring views.
