We visited this island 8 years ago and were a little worried that our recent visit wouldn't"t live up to our memories. How wrong we were, it was every bit as wonderful as last time. It is a true tropical island paradise with lovely beach villas as well as other types of accommodation, 4 restaurants and 5 bars. We mainly used the buffet which always had an amazing choice and service was excellent. Thank you to Ghassan for being so attentive. The bars had a wide variety of premium spirits, wines and cocktails. The gardens, beaches villas etc were all well kept and clean. Each villa has its own pair of beach chairs right outside and the sand is like white fine powder. The highlight for us is the house reef. As soon as you step in the sea you are welcomed by fish. Swimming a little further through shallow water to the coral reefs the abundance of every coloured fish is amazing. The resort lends out snorkelling gear for the duration of your stay. Each evening huge fruit bats fly around and there is also an abundance of rather noisy crows and Koels to keep you amused. The pool was spotlessly clean with a swim up bar. Unfortunately some guests appear to think it is ok to reserve a bed and then not use it but this happens everywhere. Arriving by seaplane was an experience too and watching them take off and land was fascinating.

Our stay at Adaaran Select Meedhupparu was an amazing experience from start to finish. The island is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the Maldives. The staff were friendly always ready to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. A massive shout out to Apoorva, chef laxman and May The food variety was also very good, with plenty of options available every day with different themes. It is an excellent choice for couples, honeymooners, or anyone wanting a peaceful island getaway. Overall, we had a memorable holiday and would definitely recommend Adaaran Select Meedhupparu to anyone visiting the Maldives.

A place you don’t want to leave - already planning our return Adaaran Select Meedhupparu is one of those rare places where you truly switch off. The island is peaceful, quiet, and completely free from the usual hustle of destinations like Mexico or the Dominican Republic - just pure relaxation from day one. What made the difference for us was the people. The service is outstanding across the entire island. A special thank you to Keppi (Pool Bar) and Hassan (Café Mass), but honestly every single team member was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You don’t just feel like a guest - you feel appreciated. The lagoon and reef are simply beautiful, full of marine life, and perfect for snorkeling. The food was excellent, and we also appreciated the visible focus on sustainability. Even the small details - like being personally guided from the seaplane to check-in and later through the airport - show how much care goes into the experience. Only minor point: slightly cooler water in the shower would have been nice in the tropical heat. Our Premium Beach Bungalow with direct beach access was a dream. We considered the Water Villas - but honestly, we didn’t miss anything. This was a real “wow” experience for us -and we are already discussing our next stay.

Perfect for a first diving experience! Great hotel with an amazing dive center. Enjoyed my stay. The staff was friendly and always ready to help. The highlight was definitely getting my SSI Open Water Diver certification here! A huge thank you to the dive center and especially my instructor Daria for her patience, professionalism, and support. With her help, I overcame my fear, completed the training, and became a certified diver. An unforgettable experience!

Our 4th stay at Meedhupparu WV. Lovely peaceful island with good house reef and abundance of marine life. Albino bar for quiet drinks, sunset bar for drinks/music in the evenings and main bar for music and activities. Dive school and water sports centre always helpful. Our room always spotless thanks to Unaish. Niyaz and Addhu are amazing butlers, nothing is too much trouble for them to help our stay be a relaxing time and we leave feeling fully refreshed, and wanting to return. All the butlers happy to chat and ensure our stay is a wonderful experience. At the WV restaurant, all staff very attentative, happy to spend time chatting if you want to, or be discreet if don't want to engage, special mention to Ifaau, Rashid and Nihad. Nuiam has been our usual waiter, however went on annual leave but made special effort to say hello before departing. WV Manager, GM Manager and other senior members always around and approachable for general chat and offering valuable insights about the island. Almost impossible to find any faults. Whilst there may be 400+ guests on island, we often ask ourselves we are they by day and night. Traditional island with emphasis on service and food.
