The heated pool with ocean view was amazing! I've been to both the InterContinental and Banyan Tree, and the prices are similar, but the Banyan Tree's service and attention to detail were truly outstanding. The facilities and rooms were also very well maintained, making it very comfortable and relaxing. Everything was spacious, and there were some pleasant surprises. Their breakfast even included sparkling wine and a salt cup cocktail, and the breakfast had a more Vietnamese flavor. They confirm the details with an email a few days before check-in, but the initial response was a bit slow, and I almost gave up on booking. Fortunately, everything turned out perfectly in the end, perfect for a long, relaxing stay!

A beautifully balanced stay filled with food, culture, and true relaxation Staying at Banyan Tree Lang Co is really about slowing down and being present. After a long journey, being welcomed at check-in with a flower and a genuine, warm smile somehow immediately eased the tiredness. That small but thoughtful gesture made a big difference, and although I wish I remembered her name (I was truly exhausted at the time), a special thank you to the check-in staff for such a kind and comforting first impression. Our mornings naturally began with the gym and yoga, followed by a fresh and comforting local Vietnamese breakfast…an easy, grounding start to each day. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was a private Vietnamese cooking class led by the wonderful Chef Nho Le, who made everything feel effortless, engaging, and genuinely fun. The experience was hands-on and thoughtfully paced, and we learned to prepare: • Gỏi cuốn — fresh Vietnamese summer rolls with herbs, prawns, crunchy vegetables, and sweet-sour fish sauce • Chạo tôm — shrimp paste wrapped around sugarcane sticks, crispy on the outside and juicy inside • Bánh khọt — mini savoury rice cakes topped with scallops, quail egg, herbs, and dipping sauce After that, we also mastered Vietnamese egg coffee (cà phê trứng)…rich, creamy, slightly sweet, and completely addictive. A huge thank you to Tay from the Water Court restaurant team for patiently teaching us and making the experience so enjoyable. The Lang Co experience tour was another standout, offering a lovely glimpse into local life through basket boats and fishing activities. Lunch was exceptional…seafood prepared simply and beautifully, steamed with lemongrass and lime so the natural freshness truly shone. The rest of the day was all about slowing down: spending quiet time on the resort’s private beach, relaxing back at the villa, and ending with one of the most deeply relaxing massages at the Banyan Tree spa. A heartfelt thank you to Chef Nho Le for such a memorable cooking class, to the Water Court restaurant crew for their warmth and hospitality, and to our villa host, Jade, whose kindness and attention to detail made our stay feel truly personal. Check-out and airport transfer services were equally seamless and personal, with special thanks to Man for ensuring everything was handled properly and stress-free. This is a place where thoughtful service, authentic experiences, and peaceful luxury come together seamlessly. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind, reconnect, and leave feeling genuinely restored.

We just spent 5 incredible nights here at the resort for our honeymoon. Our lovely host Jade was very accommodating and would help us with anything we needed. They were so thoughtful for our special holiday, always going above and beyond with kind gestures. We had 2 stellar massages, one at banyan tree and one at angsana. Both were just heavely, chi and orange were fantastic masseuses. The resort itself is a wonder to behold. So incredibly well designed and laid out. We stayed in a villa on the beach and it was such a beautiful experience. We loved hanging out at the private pool, mornings in the hot tub watching the sunrise with a tea were magical. All of the food was good, in particular the dishes at saffron and rice bowl were delicious. The buffet breakfast is the best right after a nice workout in the gym. All in all I never wanted to leave. Truly a magical place.

Me and my family just recently returned from a 7 day vacation spent at this magnificent resort. Without a doubt it was one of the most beautiful places i have ever stayed at. Everything about this hotel is top notch and i highly recommend it. Although the weather wasn’t the best, the hotel staff made the stay much more enjoyable. I want to give a shoutout to all the people working there and a big warm to our hostesses Jennie, Mi and Jade who accommodated us and made our stay memorable. If you are looking to book a hotel for your next vacation in Vietnam, don’t look much further and take this hotel since i guarantee it will be one of the best choices you will make! Victor, Romania

We recently stayed for 5 nights at Banyan Tree and absolutely loved our stay. The resort and our room were beautiful, food excellent in all restaurants and so much choice at breakfast….lovely to be able to peruse the options with a mimosa in hand! Sadly it rained most of the time we were there but as our room was so enjoyable, we were happy to stay cosy inside. It was the little things that added to our experience: Man, our super friendly, happy and helpful Villa Host who we had a lot of laughs with, the restaurant staff who presented us with our own hat at dinner, all the others (too many to mention), who stopped at our table for a chat, or smiled as we passed. After a long day visiting Hoi An, we were treated to a foot bath in our villa - absolutely wonderful, and then a bath tub prepared for us in our last night. We had a small problem during our stay, yet Man handled it very professionally and promptly - perfect customer service! The resort is a long way from anywhere else which is fantastic for quiet and relaxation, however does not give the opportunity to visit nearby restaurants and shops that might surround resorts/hotels in other locations. Would recommend Banyan Tree in a heartbeat!
