We stayed at Cinnamon Velifushi Maldives and had a great overall experience. The biggest strength of this resort is the service. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with drinks and each guest was assigned a personal host who introduced us to the island, explained everything, and remained available throughout the stay. We didn’t even see our luggage after getting off the seaplane until we reached our villa, where it was already waiting for us. We stayed in a Sunset Water Villa with a jacuzzi. The rooms are not brand new, but they are very clean and well maintained. Housekeeping comes every day, and the jacuzzi water is changed daily. We also appreciated all the little details: personal invitations to events, small thoughtful touches, umbrellas to protect from the sun, and many other things that made the stay feel personal. One of the biggest highlights was the reef. At first we didn’t even realize that we could simply step into the water from our villa and swim straight to it. The best snorkeling we found was around the buoys. The food was the only area where we were a bit disappointed. It was easy to find something for our small child, but if you’re looking for exceptional food, it may not meet your expectations. Even the Indian dishes, which we had high hopes for, were not particularly impressive to us. This is where we would especially like to recognize Sous Chef Raaji. He noticed that we weren’t fully satisfied with the food and, after that, came to our table at almost every breakfast, lunch, and dinner to check on us and offer to prepare something especially for us. Thanks to him, our impression of the dining experience completely changed. It was clear that he genuinely cared and wanted every guest to leave happy. We’d also like to thank the chefs at the live cooking stations, the bartenders, and all the waiters. Everyone was consistently friendly and attentive. Entertainment is probably not the main focus of this resort. A few activities were cancelled during our stay, but we did enjoy two evenings with live music on our first and last nights, and both were excellent. Overall, the atmosphere is quiet and relaxed, making this a great place for people who value privacy and a peaceful vacation. The island itself is small and has several beautiful beaches. If you’re traveling with a stroller, it’s worth knowing that there are very few dedicated paths, so in some places you’ll have to carry it. If you’re staying in a water villa, the walk to the restaurant or bar can also feel quite long in the heat with a small child. Despite a few minor drawbacks, we left with wonderful memories. The service is what truly makes this resort stand out, and it’s a place we would happily return to.

Paradise on earth. Best experience ever ! My wife and passed 5 days in this fabulous Cinnamon Velifushi resort, and we are still on cloud nine! This was hands-down the greatest experience we have ever had. From the moment we arrived until the bittersweet departure, everything was absolutely perfect. The overwater villa was stunning, immaculately clean, and incredibly spacious, the kind of room cleanliness that makes you feel truly pampered. Every corner sparkled, and the attention to detail was outstanding. The food was exceptional! It was a very nice stay at Cinnamon Vellifushi. Thank you to Nishaal for his kindness and attentions. All the staff is very attentive. All the facilities are available on the island and everything, including the room, is very clean. Food is very good and varied. The underwater scenery was incredible. We recommand !

Wow! What a place... My Husband and I were lucky enough to spend 4 nights at Cinnamon Velifushi at the end of May 2026 celebrating our 21st Wedding Anniversary. Absolutely perfect.. The staff were so friendly and helpful, always greeting you with a smile. The food was next level, so much variety, fresh, delicious. The whole resort was picture perfect. Stunning views, any where you looked. Very impressed with the runnings of this place, so many things going on behind the scenes. Wished we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended
